Stilton: Do yourself a favour and strangle him when you get round to playing the game.
CarrionCrow: I know...believe me, I know.
Here's the thing.
I first got it for the 360. I like the developers, the developers made Max Payne and I love Max Payne, I hoped it would be good.
But it wasn't.
I played it, I beat it, and it went to my shelf to collect dust until the end of time.
But I knew there was what I thought was an expansion. I wanted to play that, but it was never cheap enough at the local game store for me to buy it.
Turns out that American Nightmare isn't an expansion. It's a standalone game. I found that out after I started bitching in the tracker thread about having to buy Alan Wake again, and ten people told me that I'd been wrong all this time.
So, I dropped 5 dollars to rebuy a game I don't like, while still trying to hope that what I actually wanted will be good, and as a bonus I know I'm stuck playing the original again.
If he was a real person I'd suggest finding him and crapping on his head for all the hassle he's caused you (he won't get away from you, not with reactions like his). As he isn't real I'd get him killed over and over and do a lot of grinning. Call it leveling the score.
CarrionCrow: Dear gods, I just looked...
Risen is in the newer games section. The newer games section is still 25 titles away from even starting its third round.
You might be in for a wait, Stilton.
I'll hang on for Hitman 2 then, and see how much pain I'm in for Risen. I might suddenly wake up, you never know.
Stilton: If they were sleeping pills you're going to get more confused than those ladies make you...
EndreWhiteMane: They're not, but the side effects are pretty much like that. :/
Most people opt for an uncomplicated life, but I'm beginning to admire your 'who the hell wants that!' approach.
