CarrionCrow: Probably as much as they can be without sleep.
But, on the bright side, it turns out I have more energy than I thought. Got to lug a broken water jug around so I didn't make a flooded mess out of the grocery store aisle, and managed to chase down a shopping cart that the wind was trying to hurl into someone's car.
If that sounds lame on a physical ability level? That's because it is. -laughs- But doing that with no sleep and general brain burn? Not bad.
How're things going on your end? Beginning to dig your way through round two?
Stilton: Sounds like you've been behaving like Spiderman. I'm not as eager this Insomnia, so what I miss I miss, they'll come around again. I've set myself a maximum on price/quantity and a minimum on sleep, so its different than before. I'm hankering for a coffee, though, and I've never been one to ignore a hanker. Where would mankind be without coffee and beer, although not in the same glass...
You're right, of course. Unless something gets pulled out of the blue (like Scratches, which got pulled with no warning AT ALL), it'll all still be here and the prices keep dropping til they hit rock bottom.
It's all a game ultimately, and in a stroke of marketing brilliance it even manages to tap into the childhood attempts to stay awake all night, just to rebel against when you're "supposed" to go to sleep.
Will agree with you there. Coffee's fine, but I can't think of how putting it with beer would make it anything but foul.
CarrionCrow: I figured that if they were going to do it, they'd do it as a closer, to keep people glued to their screens.
I was totally geared up every time a game on the newer side switched (unless I had dozed off at the moment) because I knew that if they put that up, it'd be gone in seconds.
adaliabooks: Yeah, that's what I thought too, considering how some other less sought after games flew out I was ready every change over just in case...
It was interesting to see much older, seemingly more obscure games like Kyrandia go flying, and things like Grimrock 2 were gone in
maybe two minutes?
Really glad I got my hands on Pier Solar. You have to respect people who make a game for a system that's been dead for years on end. -laughs-
