Like I said, I was reading the manual. 77 pages, and nearly all of it was wall-to-wall text explaining the different systems and mechanisms to gameplay.
Definitely not an instant gratification kind of game.
tinyE: Of course I'm loving Escapists and that goes beyond patience. XD Hours and hours and hours spend just getting ready.
That one does look interesting. I'm all for games that have different themes and objectives than the standard military-type shooter or fantasy RPG.
Right now, the one I've got that goes beyond the breaking point of patience would be Super Meat Boy.
That is, without a doubt, the hardest godsdamned game I have ever played.
I have never had a love/hate relationship with a game the way I do with that one.
Clearing a level that your brain initially tells you, "Nope. Not possible. No way, no how, not you, not today. Just shut it off and pack it on, because there is no way in hell you're going to beat that." is a fantastic feeling.
But dear gods, do you have to suffer to get there.
