CarrionCrow: Interesting. Hadn't heard of this game before now, but it's definitely my kind of thing. Thank you for sharing the info. =)

EndreWhiteMane: You're welcome, I've been watching it for a long time now and have come very close to buying it a few times. There have been whispers about it coming here when it was bug free, glad to hear it's on the way, I'll wait for it now.
Much as it annoys me to say so, there are a few items I wouldn't mind renting since the prices are dirt-cheap, but hopefully the price for the item here won't be too bad so it can be retrieved soon as well.

EndreWhiteMane: A blue has confirmed that Lords of Xulima is coming to GOG. I find this exciting if it's not quite as combat heavy as some would have you believe.
That's great news! I'm now 50% closer to buying Lords of Xulima. The only remaining piece before I will purchase is Linux support, which is apparently coming. Hopefully Linux is done by the time it gets to GOG. It will then be an insta-buy.

It's been moderately discounted during the steam sale, and it's really the only thing that's been tempting me. Now that it's confirmed for GOG, the temptation is removed.

FoxySage: Pretty sure we all are a bit of an asshole now and then. :P Granted some people are more assholy than others. ;)

And it probably is a good thing i opened up a bit. Haven't really been a regular part of a forum community for a few years. The last forum i was part of slowly disintegrated after the site blew up because a hacker attacking the site.

You guys seem pretty alright and crazy enough. ;)

AgentBirdnest: Couldn't agree more. If you have never been a bit of an asshole at some point in your life, I think you are doing something wrong. You just need to make sure to be an asshole in proper doses :-)

This is the first time I've been a regular on a forum since 2004. I YAGE'd (along with a few others,) then the site quickly fizzled out. Didn't have any interest in other communities until I found this place.

I love you guys and gals!
You was part of a community that drank psychedelic brew? Interesting hobby you had. :P

I've only been part of various nwn communities and then the site i mentioned which was for a webcomic.
Good evening everyone!

How are all you lovely people doing tonight?

All seems pretty well with the world today, nothing worth complaining about anyway. How's DD today?

Neat! I don't know much about the game, but saw a brief post / thread here that was enough to cause me to remember the name. Will be keeping my eyes open for when it shows up here! Any timeframe?

Well enough, considering it's 10AM here and I still have 6 hours of work to go. Work is generally quiet right before Christmas, so it's a nice opportunity to do some catch up.

Only one more day after today of work and then it's holidays until January 5.

And you?

I'm good thank you. Been quite busy with work so I've not been as active lately, and to think I missed all the Final Fantasy talk. :-)

Is everyone ready for Christmas Day, especially the Secret Santas? Just a few more days until Momo breaks your window, hacks your computer, and infects it with festive gift codes. :-)

You're lucky, I get a whole 24 hours (approx) off for Christmas. From the evening on Christmas Eve to late afternoon Christmas Day. I hope you enjoy your holiday and have a great time with your family.

Haven't seen a time yet, though January was mentioned by the dev. Whenever it's bug free enough to hassle with GOG's complicated install files.
And was this the RPG with the crazy crafting / survival system? Or the one that switches into a first person perspective during combat, which is turn based?

If the second, I think this is the game I'm hoping scratches my "missed out on Might and Magic X" itch.

It strikes me as much more like your second description.

Doing well enough. Trying to find a gift for my grandfather. Was considering Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, though now i'm not too sure since i've been told he is mostly playing puzzle games currently instead of 4x strategy games.

My work is a little odd in this respect. The office is officially closed between Christmas and New Years, but we don't just get it off with pay. It's up to us to make sure we have enough vacation time to take it off.

I like it though. If I wasn't forced to take the time off, I probably wouldn't, and in the end, I really like having the time off.

What kind of puzzle games has he been playing?

I think a lot of places no longer give free Christmas vacation, they expect you to use your holiday time for it. Which I can understand, from a business point of view. A bit like Scrooge feeling mis-used paying Bob Cratchit a days wage with no days work.

I work on a farm, so sadly no time off for me. The crops still need maintaining and the animals still need looking after. But I don't mind, at least I get most of Christmas Day to relax.
