EndreWhiteMane: To steal your thread for a moment if I may; you played Albion didn't you? What's your final opinion?

superstande: I enjoyed it for a dozen hours or so... Then things got a bit difficult, with bigger areas on the map, very strong monsters appearing and then trying to figure out how to solve the quests... A bit messy game, but quite funny and interesting other times. I read somewhere that there was some bug the developers never fixed that can cause the progress to become impossible or something like that. Would advice to check out tips about avoiding the bug(s). I don't know if I can recommend it or not :) I gave up because of the hard challenge somewhere around halfway. Might try it again some day.
Thanks Super, I tried it a couple of years ago and also gave up. Interesting that it gets 4 stars.

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday evenoon :-)

I am, thanks :) Likewise to you!
Good moaning.
I was browsing the interwebz as I'm ofttimes wont to do. Perchance my virtual strollings take me through the humble bundles site and what doth I see?

MOTHERFRAGGING OLD WORLD OF DARKNESS VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE!

A dozen source-books for under 10 bucks.

I thirst for blood!
Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves*

I consider Arkham City to be finished now - finally. The riddle hunt was really getting on my nerves....
Third time's the charm, eh? Never actually finished some sidequests before that run :)

How are you all doing?

Once you rescue the hostages, there's no real motivation to finish the riddle hunt. It's boring and unrewariding. The only reason being pure sheer stubborness.

I completed it.

Exactly. But never did that before - i only miss two trophies and some physical challenges but they're not worth the hassle. One of the trophies is of the "detonate two mines and wait for the cooldown to repeat the procedure multiple times bullshit" kind...

I guess there's a reason why all later Batman games had less then 400 collectibles.... (apparently even the pc trainwreck Arkham Knight)

Edit: But playing Asylum and City back to back taught me once again that Asylum is the better game - despite the more refined combat system in City.

Asylum was far more focused and had a tighter narrative.
City's plot suffered from its sandbox ambitions. Being so open in choice comes at a price.

I thought both were amazing, both had low and exceedingly high points. I adored both games, I adored Rocksteady, they could do no wrong.
Then Arkham Knight happened.

No doubt about that - both are great games with City suffering from its rather boring and empty open-world. I also didn't like the cliffhanger endings of some sidequests...

In all fairness Rocksteady was not responsible for the PC port of that game although it seems like the game is not overly great in general with too much emphasis on the batmobile...
o,O
Good morning, thread!

*Monday hugs*
It's a whole new experience being able to browse the forum on the phone without having to wait enough to grow a beard and/or the keyboard crashing all the time.

Buy Arkham Knight to get resolution for those sidequests. :p

Pretty much, worth it for the story though. Couldn't be bothered with getting 100% unlike the others due to the city size+car stuff.

Good morning everyone.

I kinda assumed that already. Not a huge fan of that nonetheless.

I guess i'll eventually get it in a sale....
