JunglePredator: It's more like this.
That is just the US/Canadian version. :-)
Oh.
Well, in that case:
*shoots DD from a safe distance with puzzle gun*

Pretty sure the U.S. version would be on fire and shoot missiles.

It can't be American, it was not made in China. :-)

Yes, but the puzzle gun is a non-lethal weapon which is designed to lock up the victim's brain with a puzzle.
Still got this under control, though:
*wields electric can opener*

In that case, it'd blow up as soon as you turn it on.

You do know I won't just stand still while you try that. And I am a dab hand at castration. :-)

That is not true, your Chinese made US flags don't blow up when you use them. Granted your 4th of July Chinese fireworks do. :-)

Don't make me have to reactivate Puzzle-Bot 2.0, now.

We just experienced the fun of removing a cicada from Sarge's mouth. Oddly, the little thing seemed unharmed, so hooray for that. It's hotter than all get-out though so we're going to spend a little time indoors.
Once he's ready for a nap I'm going to get into some gaming, or at least internet a bit. :)

*big hugs*

LOL - my guy will also once in a while "hold" something in his mouth like that - doesn't actually bite / chew / swallow it - just sort of keeps it there as a game.

Cicadas are some of the oddest creatures - I LOVE finding them in either form. We have a fairly large variety here. To this day, I STILL remember as a child seeing the adult form crack out of the back of that giant tick looking thing that they crawl out of the ground as.
'Evening everyone. How are you all doing?

Brood V of the periodic cicadas is out now. Haven't spotted any in my area yet, but they may not reach down to Central Virginia this time.

I do have a ton of different dragonfly species around my lake right now. Also found their shed skins from their nymph-to-adult transition, which is similar to a cicada's except the dragonfly nymphs are aquatic. They are also terrifying. :)
OK, 14 hours without internet, I'm just a tad behind on the thread.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm instead of boiling or frozen.

Octo-Man, do still have the link to the 'what's new today' magog thread?

Hear we're trying to make Yezmins birthday a real bang up affair.
I'll just leave this here:

Seems to be just what he did, was just holding the thing in there. haha. I love cicadas, they're really fascinating. I used to take the shells they'd leave behind after their "transformation" and line them up against my Star Wars and He-Man figures in little battles in my back yard as a kid.
