akhliber: I didn't even realize dragonflies shed their skin in such a way. Very creepy! Makes sense, but I've never seen one. How strange! We've a ton of dragonflies here as well, and they are quite fascinated with the chain leash we use to take Sarge outside. Rarely is there a trip outside these days without at least one dragonfly stopping by to land on the chain for a moment to say hello. Makes me wonder just what the metal shine of the leash must look like to them.
I've always been around dragonflies but this is the first time I've seen their skin. Probably because the tufts of tall grass around the lake stood out and were convenient for them and also easy to spot the skins in. In denser foliage one would really have to search. And how cute that you get them alighting on your walks!

akhliber: *And I'm really not sure what sort of cicadas we have here now... It's just been the past week or two that they've been audible, and we saw a couple the other day. Maybe annuals? I don't recall hearing them every year, to be honest, but my memory is pretty bad. :)
I'm hoping mine will be out and loud soon. Should get a decent swarm of the annuals, since I live next to a park. They don't mob up like the periodics, though. And they look very different. The annuals are larger and pale green with white bellies. The periodics are black with bright red eyes. The last mob of periodics I was in was Brood X, which hatched out while I was living in the DC region.

CarrionCrow: Good evening. =)

A bit tired at the moment, but can't really complain overall. How was your day?
Sorry to hear that. Are you still not sleeping well?

My day has been okay, not the best of days, but not the worst. I am in a lot of pain today, quite a lot in fact, plus my breathing problems and coughing seems to be back today with a vengeance. But I am sure it is just a bad day, tomorrow will probably be much better. My partner had a long night last night and an early morning today so she decided to get an early night tonight as she is quiet warn out. So I figured I would do some more work on my books and chat with you lovely people. And I am rambling, so I will stop. :-)

AgentBirdnest: Yeah, that's the biggest problem I've been having with the sale. Too difficult to tell what is new. It would be nice if the new items had like an orange border around them or something. Ah well.
I've been using my wishlist and the games page when it's filtered for discounts and all owned stuff is hidden to see what's available. It works.

ddickinson: What the hell is WETODIIFY? Have you wet yourself of something? *takes a step back from Agent*

Meh, I want my old type games. These damn kids and their silly modern games. :-)
One of those silly words from one of the languages in Star Wars, I think. It means "happy Tuesday evening, lovely Battle Sister" :-p

Well, this is (formerly) Good Old Games, so at least you are on the right website if you want old stuff. I recommend anything by Devolver. Games don't look much older than that.

It's okay. Think I'm still about a week and a half behind, that's probably the reason.

No, you're not rambling. I'm sorry it's been so rough on you today. I hope it's all doing much better tomorrow.

CarrionCrow: Um...the bundles seem nice. Aside from that, the front page is very full of stuff, and I've lost track of what came out today specifically.
Ori and the Blind Forest seems nice, but that'll have to wait for later.

Very well done... but what if I don't want Sorcerer King? :-p
No need to apologize. In case you hadn't noticed, this thread isn't exactly full of serious people ;-)
Random rant: Why has GOG started to use .pkg installers for Mac. One thing about Mac is that usually there is no need for an installer, this has certainly been the case for all my previous GOG games. With installers you are never quite sure what files they are putting where, which is a little sneaky in many ways. Makes me wonder what they are trying to install as well as the game.

Ah, I see. I have not really seen all the Star Wars movies, nor can I really remember the ones I have seen, so I probably just missed that part. :-)

Well I don't mind new stuff, just as long as it is not broken and incomplete. :-)

Well I hope you get the chance to catch up soon before it sneaks up on you and does some damage.

Thank you. I will be okay, just a bad day I think. I pushed myself a little over the weekend, so it is to be expected that I would pay for it over the next few days. Not that I mind, my weekend was worth it. :-)

-laughs- I already have Sorcerer King! ;)

No clue on that one. I use Windows, so installers are normal for me.
Maybe someone with a lot more knowledge and Mac usage could help you get a decent answer to the question.

It's okay. As long as I'm not falling over, it's no big thing.

You're welcome, D. Hopefully, the next time you can have the fun weekend and the shitty illness will skip making you feel badly after. =)

Ah yeah. You're right about that, if I think about it :)

So here are other options :P

That's the best review system I've seen in a while.

I usually play many of the games on Windows as well, but a few I will play on the Mac while doing some work (I find that despite it being the same computer, more demanding games work much better on Windows, so I play them on Windows, the others I play on the Mac OS.). I was just curious why this change. They must need to put some files somewhere, but why when they never needed to before? And if they don't, then why not the old fashioned app versions? These are the stand alone installers, not the Galaxy ones. Not that it is a big issue really, I was just curious as I am not keen on putting random stuff all over the place.

Well that is good. We don't want you falling over and hurting yourself. Of course, being good and getting some sleep would help avoid that. :-)

That would be nice. I seem to be over the worst of the pneumonia now (well, with the exception of today), so that is good. And as I said before, overall I am noticing some improvements after getting all those antibiotics and fluids and things, not to mention the new medication.

Very well done! I'm definitely coming to you first for advice on all future game purchases ;-)

The only thing coming to mind is that packaging it makes it easier to use with Galaxy, or for their system in general somehow.

Yeah well, sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, that's all good. I'm just impatient. I want you to feel better quickly, rather than the gradual up and down shit you've been having to deal with.

That is my thoughts as well. But I don't what to use Galaxy, so I don't really care for all the extra useless crap. :-) Like I said, it is no big deal, it just seems strange. I can understand for games installed from Galaxy, but not the stand alone installers.

Do I need to get the animal tranquilliser? :-)

You say that like I am patient about it, I have wanting to be better for months. :-)
But thank you. I am hoping over the next few months I will make some big improvements, hopefully enough to enjoy the summer a little and be all set for the baby plans in a few month. I need to be well for that or we will have to delay it all, which I don't want.
