If the staff really do pick the 'staff picks' I wonder what they were threatened with to pick Interplay for 608th damn time?
Morning all.

Good morning. =) Morning all.
If anything, it gives the impression that whoever owns the rights to Interplay's stuff, they need money.
Some months more badly than others, so the discounts spike even harder.

Strange. Publisher sales are usually saved for the weekend promo. I guess GOG is getting (even) less creative. Or, like you suggested, Interplay might sic a Kabuto on GOG if they don't cooperate. *shrug* :-) Morning all.
Morning yourself. Anything you don't have yet from the Staff Picks? :-p

Every Interplay game I own disappointed me so far.
Not sure I'd even want to purchase more from them at this point. :l
Well... Fallout didn't disappoint.
Though those are no longer theirs I guess.

Really wishing GOG would just start the summer sale.
If it's going to be 95 percent rehash, let's get it out of the way already.

And the rental sale might be starting on the 23rd. Between the two, that should be the end of sales for quite a while on my end.
Also, I keep wondering if it's doable to hit someone in the head with a claw hammer enough to fry their brain, but not kill them outright. I wouldn't want the person to die, just have stuff like uncontrollable shaking, permanent partial paralysis, something like that. That in turn goes back to the old idea of power drilling someone's spinal cord to produce a nice enhanced quadriplegic effect, leaving the person unable to kill themselves unless they get really inventive.
This is where medical training would come in handy. I'm not a doctor, but I'm still pretty sure you can't take a Black and Decker cordless to someone's neck and not expect to have a corpse on your hands when you're done.
(And that's not even factoring in how my hands tend to shake sometimes...)
You know what comes to mind? Someone in one of those breath-activated wheelchairs, and them trying to puff like mad (or sip really hard, I don't know which function makes those go forward and I'm too lazy to check Google right now) to get it moving while praying there's enough speed for them to run into a sharp object positioned at eye level.
Pretty sure a video of that would get a million plus views on Youtube in no time.
-shakes head- More stuff to file under "great fun to think about, but probably not feasible for one reason or another".
Life's full of stuff like that.
