Good afternoon.
Everything went more or less as I expected.
I got fucked really badly in genetics. But the general bio part, just about might, with enough sacrifices to the dark gods under a red blood moon, ia, ia fhtagn!; be enough for a pass.
I'll have to retake the genetics part in a month or so.

Now I have to prepare for economics on Wednesday.
And I have no idea what to study for that one.

What should I do to soothe the pain? Should in indulge in binge drinking? Or perhaps binge game-buying.
I say buying not playing becauuse I don't have time to game until July at least.

So many promos today. There's the weekend still, the stealthy weeabo games promo (which still has no news article about it), the weekly staff pick boldly going where no nerd has gone before and the whole of the interplay catalog.

And the last embers of the Humble Spring Sale still smolder.

I feel like my wallet's Frank Cotton, playing with a lament configuration and the cenobites are watching... and waiting.

AgentBirdnest: At least we will never run out of games :-) In the year 2080, when I'm finally bored after having played all 41 Tropico games, NOLF 3, and Call of Duty 621: RoboUnicorns 6 - Remastered Edition B... I will still have The Longest Journey in my backlog :-p
Man, in the time it will take Call of Duty 621: RoboUnicorns 6 to be re-re-rereleased as the Definitive Remastered Edition B, and the additional 6 months or so to iron out the re-re-rerelease-day bugs, you could easily knock The Longest Journey out of your backlog. ;)

CarrionCrow: Additional - They want 600 dollars for the X7. That's flatout impossible. -laughs-
I have a Philips GoGear Vibe.
It cost me 20 bucks.
It gets the job done.
(and it supports flac; apparently)

akhliber: Not too bad here. Pup is extra sleepy this morning, which helps with my own extra sleepy. Finally about to motivate to make more coffee. Been needing to do that for a while now. :) Nice lazy day overall though, certainly can't complain. :)
Sounds good - hope it'll stay that way :)

AgentBirdnest: *twugmet* to the lovely Hamburger Helper who just walked in.
Hey Agent *big hug*
How are you doing?

Buying the games is 76.64% of the fun. 22.81% of the fun is talking about them. The other half-ish of a percent of the fun is playing the things :-p
So, since I don't drink, I'd say go with the game binge ;-)

I had some more Extreme Moose Tracks for breakfast, so I won't complain about anything for the rest of the day :-p

Enjoy your lazy day.
I just had to drink a red-bull knock-off to avoid falling asleep in the all too warm library.
I'm still sleepy though. Time for some awful vending machine coffee I guess?
I think I should at least make the attempt to revise for economy.
What did GDP stand for again?

Don't forget about Dreamfall (I wasn't able to no matter how much I tried. So I don't see why anyone else should).
Try to get to it by 2099.

Imagine your whole family has been taken hostage and they demand all your money minus 10 bucks.
Supposing you're not willing to sacrifice any of them (as tempting as it is). What games would you use those 10 bucks you have left for?

It's been quite nice, thanks! I hope you're able to keep yourself awake! I can't imagine a Red Bull knockoff. I've only had a Red Bull (or, admittedly, *some* brand-name energy drink, come to think of it maybe it was "5 hour energy") once, and it just made me realize that my own caffeine consumption by way of coffee and soda is already far too excessive for someone with anxiety issues. That one energy drink felt like a heart attack in a tiny little bottle. Holy crap. I'll stick to pacing myself by way of coffee so that I don't start vibrating so quickly I begin to cause a tuning-fork effect to anything I touch. ;)
20 minutes left of the humble sale.
Anything I shouldn't miss?
Watering done, ice cold diet Pepsi in hand.
Life is good.

Actually it looks like an awesome game and gets super high ratings.
Only problem is I don't understand how any human being could possibly have the reflexes to play it for more than about 1 minute. :-)

To its credit, it does start off fairly gradually. The difficulty spikes as you go on...and spikes, and spikes some more until you've got the classic "I have no idea how I did that" feeling after you beat a level on your 927th attempt scenario.

When it comes to beating it, you hit your personal wall right away. You get stuck, then you repeat until you start to get 2 percent further. Keep doing that enough and you'll eventually beat the level.

Here's what I'm stuck on.

This is what I beat on Saturday while slightly intoxicated and somewhat sleep deprived.
