I'm not the one calling GoG curation stupid because they reject obviously marginal games.
What I've pointed out time and again is how flawed many of these rejected titles are and the legitimate reasons a curator might reject them.
I respect GoG decisions because it is their business and I think back-seat drivers who can't find a rejected game they dislike have serious issues with objectivity.
Accepting this game certainly was NOT a no-brainer.
PROS:
1) Famed franchise Wizardry.
2) Publisher already in your catalog XSEED.
3) Strong Wishlist vote count.
CONS:
1) Disdain from the old school Wizardry community over Acquire and Japan's re-imagining.
2) Poor review scores and lack of interest in the PS3 version of this game at the time of its release.
3) Similar poor reviews of the iOS version for mobile.
The fact you can't understand that Grimoire IS a niche title says a lot about you...
The game was out for over 2 years and it's sales have been poor. The reviews for the game have been terrible. And since Cleve chose not to day 1 release on GoG, 1st day sales were not an option. And that is not going into the trainwreck of Cleve's attacks on his customers.
If you can't understand why GoG might reject these games, then you aren't thinking at all.
Your complaints are silly. And you aren't just voicing your opinion, you are being obnoxious about it. How many times are you "not buying games here anymore"? A dozen? Every time someone finds a game was rejected, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, no matter how weak the title, you act as if GoG is stupid. Just about every release thread, you muddy it up complaining about the games that GoG does accept.
And let's be clear. I've been pointing out the valid reasons GoG may have rejected these games. I've also stated that I would have accepted Grimoire if it were a day 1 release here, assuming it wasn't a buggy mess. That I would have accepted this title here because it would be a day 1 release, assuming the same. I would have accept Hatred on release because it was bound to sell a lot of copies just from notariety.
But I can understand why GoG might reject these games even if I would have chosen differently. Which seems to be something you are incapable of understanding.
