Maybe this is just complaining but after the GOG save game email, it's the first time I even realized that there is a cap. I can understand that GOG needs to limit capacity, but some games use a lot more space for save games than others.
I would rather see 200 MB added to the quota for every game you buy, but it can be used collectively for any game. So that way, if I own 100 games, that's 20 GB of storage space that can be used. Heck, they could probably cut that to 100 MB per game at that point. Give the user 200 MB up front for the first game and each successive one 100 MB.
I don't think I ever ran into this issue with Steam.
