Voted long time ago. The premise with colonization and magic seems quite interesting.

So did I. I'm quite surprised it still has so few votes.
looks like something I want, GIEV
Development Progress

It seems like there's still some time left on their Early Access.
This is the current project of the Dungeons Of Dredmor guys, yes ?
Looks neat. Hopefully it comes out some day.

Yeah. A year or so ago they made some very interesting claims about the AI and how the NPCs will evolve and interact. I'm interested in seeing how that ll plays out. Plus I love Dungeons of Dredmor and thus have some goodwill for these folks.
not sure if anyone cares, but Clockwork Empires has set the launch date to 26th October, so in 20 days.

Wishbone: On the actual topic of the thread, have they said anything about a release date at any point? I'm not interested in early access games, and there was no mention of an actual date anywhere on their site (that I could find, anyway).
Flagging your post, see above - 26th October

Huh, I'd completely forgotten about this game. Well, it'll be interesting to see the reviews when it's out. I might well get it.
I wish this would come to GOG, and bring Dungeons of Dredmor along. I've been interested in the game but haven't followed development. Is the game going to be in good shape on release?

What do you mean by "cut out", you can't cut out something which was never there....

There was mention of multiplayer somewhere in the design, but it was eventually removed. Probably when they realised it was going to be a nightmare and that they should focus on the single-player first.

I seem to remember there's a specific blog post they did on the subject.

EDIT: Not specific, but the introduction of one: https://www.gaslampgames.com/2016/01/27/the-great-building-creator-rewriting/

aye, and that's the nature of development. What you can do, what works and so on is not the same as what you want when you start of, and that is how it works. it is a good blog pot, by the way, as most of their development blogs are. It does not mean the feature is "cut out", it means iit was not implemented as it was not working.
