Wow! My rep has decreased again. :-3
I am amazed how each time that someone says something philosophical, he/she is downvoted.
It is like "If you want to be popular in GOG forums, then be an asshole, be petty to others, never say anything nice, never say anything intelligent, talk only to mock people and say stupid things, take example on Idiocracy.".
I noticed that community members who often are petty and talk trash have usually high rep and some community members who say often intelligent and nice things have low rep.
Just look at richlind33's rep which is -167 whereas I never read him/her say anything mean or disrespectful, he/she is actually one of those who say intelligent/nice things.
Whereas there are community members who don't respect anyone and anything, who always talk to say trash, mock others, be assholes, say stupid things which don't bring anything to discussions and these persons have crazy high reps! O.O
So I come to the conclusion that GOG forums are ruled by petty persons who downvote anyone who say anything intelligent/nice and who keep upvote each other to stay at the top reps.
This is why I think that this post vote and rep system is really wrong and I don't understand why such an open-minded organization as GOG did implement such a mean system at the first place.
I made a wish to fix it. My wish has immediatly sunk deep into the endless wishlist and I think that no one ever noticed it. :-3
Look:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/no_more_reputation_and_no_more_post_rating_please MaximeMartyr: I know how you feel. Me too I dream of extraterrestrial advanced civilizations who come to our planet to fix our fucked up society and teach us how to develop a nice society because mankind obviously is not intelligent enough to do it alone.
And it seems that you heard about the extraterrestrials' rule that they must not take part in our business if we don't specifically ask them to do.
However, those who have the opportunity to ask for help to other planets don't because our unfair society profit to them so they don't want to fix it.
Selfishness has always ruled mankind.
Wut? I didn't understand what you said.
skeletonbow: I was cracking a subtle joke about No Man's Sky. :)
Ah! I suppose that I didn't understand because I didn't play No Man's Sky then. :-3
