trentonlf: Our Bombay has similar issues with getting anxious or scared around other cats. Might give one of those collars a try to see if it helps. Thanks for the info on it :-)
Yeah, your vet may have them, if not, maybe they can order them for you. I haven't checked online, but they probably have a website somewhere. Not all cats like them, my male can't stand them, but when they work, they really work. Good luck!

VABlitz: Had a cat that would catch flies for us. If she heard or saw one, she would stop whatever she was doing and not stop hunting it until it was in her mouth. She would then spit it out, rip the wings off, and play with it for a few minutes before killing it. Then walk around proud as can be.
Did she ever provide you with a wee sample?:

LOL, that was a great video!
Cats are a lot smarter than most people think...
Our cat tried to relocate her kitten. First, she came to our house, then, she went a few houses ahead and placed him/her there. Then came back to ours to eat. Then goes to the first location and doesn't remember where her kitten is. But I think she eventually found him or her, so its probably good.

MORAL-Cats aren't smart with other cats.

My cat runs and smashes herself into walls for no apparent reason.... but yeah I agree with you cats are very smart... lol

MaximumBunny: Keep in mind that the cat owns you, not the other way around. Do not do anything to disturb your master.
Very true, "You give a dog food and shelter and it think you're God, you give a cat food and shelter and it think it's God."

Please take your cat to a vet right away. What you described is a very serious illness in cats resulting from a damaged nervous system:

Jekadu: Are you absolutely sure pets are your thing? This is gonna sound horribly judgemental, but when your animals start hiding from you out of fear, that's bordering on animal abuse. Cats are not dogs - what works for dogs might only confuse and frighten the cat, and vice versa.

rtcvb32: With them hiding because they don't want to get thrown out, I wouldn't really qualify that as abuse. If they whine the moment they see me, yeah that's probably abuse.

I always try to give them warnings and they know it's coming, it's not like I'm kicking them without a reason. Although that does bring up a really bad set of lines I could use while using the phones in korea since everything is tapped...
Dude. Everything you have said sounds like abuse. Get yourself to a behavior specialist asap and learn how to actually communicate with animals.

P.S. Kicking pets for punishment is always abusive. Just like kicking kids is always abusive. Just stop and learn to be better.

I never EVER kick pets (or kids) intentionally... (maybe when they run right in front of me unexpectedly.... but you can't help that, and it's more like just nudging them than kicking).

Glancing at my words it's easy to misread what i meant to say, in how the context was laid out. A sentence can have several different meanings depending on how you put emphasis on different words.

edit: My GF has harped on me the last half hour about how my wording has said that 'i kick cats' when clearly i do not. I guess the easiest way to fix the wording is to drop the 'without a reason' bit. So my quote post on 58 SHOULD be: I always try to give them warnings and they know it's coming; And it's not like I'm kicking them

HGiles, sorry if it seemed like i am somehow an animal abusing prick. I'm not. The only reason the cat was hiding, was because he has a good impression i will throw him right back outside, and that itself is the punishment for having caught him marking in the house multiple times.

My parents' cat will stare at one particular place on a wall in their house and then attack it. He has been doing this for years, so he has made a mark into the drywall. Like an idiot, I have watched him and seen nothing there.
