Whore of the Orient. I didn't like L.A. Noire as a game, but this was intriguing.
East vs West. should this mean that HoI4 will eventually have Cold War DLC? unlikely.
after alpha was leaked community attempted to finish it on their own, but that was just lost hopes. so sad, the idea was really cool.
Heroes of Annihilated Empires, which should be trilogy. well, it's definitely not Warcraft, but personally, i liked it, so it'd be nice to know the rest of the story.
too sad they buried their cool strategy games under ruins of STALKER series up until poor 3D remake of Cossacks.
also, new XCOM game from E3 2010, which was not exactly cancelled but became third-person tactics The Bureau. though before that it was an
FPS about alien invasion in 1950s' USA.
it looked absolutely cool, and IMO would be much better atmosphere-wise, reminding of Call of Cthulhu, Bioshock, or 3rd generation of Fallout.
haven't played Bureau itself, but it isn't even close to that project. such a shame.
and whole Armada of the Damned, having flagship of the same name.
Armada itself was a sorrowful loss. and since Hearts of Oak is abandoned, we have nothing on the horizon except couple of ambitious indies with uncertain release chances.
most of all I mourn Corsairs 4 (Age of Pirates/Sea Dogs sequel). though since last month some shady story about rights is going on, and both suing parties have proclaimed making a new Corsairs game.
all that is muddy and unlikely, but a little hope bring news that some guys from Seaward (AoP:CoAS developer) are willing to participate in development. it'd be great after all these years to finally see good singleplayer naval sailing adventure.
it's possible, i hope. after all, almost final version of Lord of the Clans was leaked recently, Beyond Good and Evil 2 announced and in development, so... maybe we'll see others as well?
