tomimt: Blade Runner is one of the best, if not the best adventure game made in the 90's. Sadly though, despite it runs perfectly well under modern OS's, it might be up to licensenses why it hasn't been released. I do wonder who even owns the game rights, considering the overall rights for Blade Runner the movie were a mess back in the 90's, so I wouldn't be surprised if the game licensing is owned by some other party.
On a side note, while the game does look pretty good, it would be nice to see those backgrounds and game cinematics rendered in full HD glory. And as the characters were done with voxels, it would be nice to see them done with more detailed 3D as well.
Still, it's a great game as is and if you ever get a change to play it, I can fully recommend it. It even has pretty modern approach on adventure game design, as there's no typical adventure game traps in it.
You have my support for that statement :) More than that even, since it's my personal alltime favorite video game, let alone favorite adventure game.
But I don't think a full hd render of the environments will necessarily work well. The 'fuzzy' versions in the game manages to make it look more authentic. Take a look at the non-fuzzy screens from the game here:

To meee, as a non-hy-ge adventure peep, all of these are comparable if you remove teh atmosphere part of
Blade Runner and just go with teh gameplay. Bladey isn't a trad. point 'n' clicker and teh branching isn't very good.
In the same way Danny Devito is comparable to Usain Bolt on the track if you cut off Bolt's legs :P
