Sigh, I had boxes for my games from childhood, but the family thought it would be better to throw them out and keep things organized in a file case. Sad. However, I have kept the boxes since then. A few I am missing b/c I lent the games to a friend and she has yet to return them :(

Hahaha, I used to be really bad at keeping tons of stuff. I lived in a house for like 7 years and when i had to move I was like, "Holy shit, I have so much crap". I threw a lot of it away. I kept A LOT of my work from undergrad and postbach, and i was just like, "WHY???". I regret getting rid of some of the books. I'd like to look through some of them again :) But really, when am I gonna need or read my old biochemistry papers? lol

Though I have misplaced my hardcover copy of the works of Chaucer and not being able to find it is making me nuts. I'll be super pissed if I chucked that on accident.

I went from one extreme to another. Guess it's all about finding a balance, yeah? :)

Whenever I move, I only take what I can fit in my car. Not because I am against movers, but because it's such a wonderful opportunity to get rid of all the old junk. I take with me no furniture, very little clothing, some electronics, several collections, expensive items such as weapons and ... that's it really. A bit of a hassle to buy new things once I arrive, but the move itself is always a breeze and I never accumulate loads of junk. Plus friends and neighbors who get all my stuff (from furniture to computers) tend to be happy.

When I moved from Washington to Utah, I gave a UPS guy, who helped pack some of my fragile items a full sized replica of a portal gun on a stand. He was so happy!

girl, you are like in my brain! that is EXACTLY what happened. "crew, you wanna keep this couch?" NO! "how about your washer/dryer, we can store it for you?" NO GET RID OF ALL THE THINGS!

and i'd totally help you move for a replica portal gun! I JUST started playing portal for the first time two days ago :)

hahaha I worked for the UPS store and packed things for people and sent them out. Once a guy's golf club got totally bent in half. UPS came to inspect the claim and told us we didn't sufficiently pack it. I was like, "is a freakin' metal pole!". another time a fork lift went through a very expensive painting. good times. good times.

I never throw them.
I copy my disc, put it back into box and then use a no cd crack to play the game.
Most of my games look like new.
That's other thing I never got a big box because they are kind of expensive here.
