I have a VISA prepaid card that has $1.99 balance remaining on it. Thinking on spending it on another game (I've already bough 7 or 8 this sale) and was wondering what would you recommend as the best game on GOG priced at $1.49 right now? I can't do the whole $1.99 since there always seems to be an additional few cents charged after the initial purchase. I'm leaning towards Spacecom or Redline. Thanks for any suggestions!
Shelter 2
XCom UFO Defense
Disciples 2
Civilization 3
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

tfishell: Postal 2, only $1.
I was going to suggest that but I think he was going for exactly 1.49.

If not I have a shit more to recommend.

What games do you like?

Escape Goat, VVVVVV are good choices if you like platformers
It's hard to recommend something without knowing your tastes and what you already own. Plus, judging by the two games you're leaning towards, my own tastes seem to be different from yours, but personally I'd recommend:

Exact match:

Brütal Legend
Outlaws
Clive Barker's Undying
Sam & Max Hit the Road
Nox
Ultima 7 Complete (it's a beloved classic, in any case; personally I couldn't get into it yet, sadly)

Cheaper:

Psychonauts
Hotline Miami
Enclave
Ben There, Dan That & Time Gentlemen Please!
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
Avernum - The Complete Saga (haven't played it, but if you're into these, you get 7 games)
Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption (not the greatest RPG, but cool setting)
Blocks That Matter (but I'm obviously biased)

Very fun adventure - platformer game with a good fun story. Excellent gameplay.

A little old, but I find that the game has aged well. The game does horror right while giving you guns and magic to wield.
Excellent atmosphere, creepy characters and locales. This is a gem.

More an interactive movie than a game. I liked it, the story was very engaging for the most part, and the voice acting and character development was pretty solid.
Whoa....I had never heard of these Shelter games. They definitely appear to be something different and unique. I am very intrigued by them. I have an extreme allergy to cats (like put me in the hospital reaction) so I usually avoid them like the plague. Of course this is a video game and not a real cat but playing a cat feels kind of weird to me. I see the first Shelter game is about a badger. Is the second game a lot better than the first one? Thanks a lot for the suggestion tinyE!
A few more:

The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human $0.99
Even though I haven't played it much, I was positively surprised by this one. It is designed for Xbox controller.

Downwell $1.66
A remake of that old DOS classic. Really fast and fun!

I like all sorts of games. The two I listed were games I either already own (on CD) or have played and enjoyed. One's a complete strategy game through and through and the other is an old FPS that's still enjoyable. I just bought on the sale Firewatch, SWAT 3 & 4, Dragon's Dogma, Baseball Stars 2, This War of Mine & Oblivion. I am intrigued by a lot of these new indie titles that are doing different things and are not the same old stuff.

You were probably trying to say Eradicator I guess, which is on sale for exactly $1.49. I have not played that game, however.
