FrodoBaggins: This is the ONLY site that I have problems with! Everyone other site I visit works fine in IE11.
Interestingly enough, the other site I have problems with as of recently is MobyGames. There were some changes which caused the user menu to no longer show up in IE, so have to use roundabout methods to access profile and approval status, and a very roundabout one of accessing inbox, and there are no notifications for messages visible anywhere. So, you know, two gaming sites that used to be better known for older games and with a core userbase fueled in good part by nostalgia and a rejection of current trends, which decided to make changes requiring very "modern" browsers. But at least in case of MG it's volunteers trying to do something in their spare time, which in case of those with dev access is very much at a premium now. That isn't the case for GOG.
FrodoBaggins: Does anyone else find it odd that the blues still haven't commented about these technical problems, as well as the cosmetic layout? I'd really like to know if these problems are going to be fixed. Are they even being worked on?
Nope, don't find it odd. Find it quite as expected. Someone at the top made some decisions, they believe they're right and that the problems aren't problems, but just a "vocal minority" doing its thing, so they just want to wait it out, and if they lose a few people out of those complaining, probably all the better.
