It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

JDelekto: I just noticed the "Installed" and "Backlog" text on the game cards on the shelf in the very first picture. Is that added there when you add custom tags? If so, I need to make better use of the tag system!
Yeah, the first tag (according to your tag sort order, which you can change on one of the account settings screens) that you've assigned to a game is shown on the bottom, and when you expand that game's "box", it'll list all the tags you currently have assigned to it.
I'm pretty sure "backlog" is one of the pre-created tags, though I don't remember if "installed" is or not.

phaolo: Currently Magog is wayy more useful.
Currently, MaGog is wayy more cumbersome to use (for this purpose), too. ;) Might be something to do with the fact that it was made to be a search engine, and the "library" functionality was an afterthought.

Cumbersome? It just offers more optional advanced features.
Also, on Magog: all tags show up immediately; you can apply them to all the catalog; you can filter the results also by them.

The only downside is that it wouldn't be able to export its info back to Gog, if they ever improved the system (Never™).

dreanason: hello, can anyone answer a question for me
Welcome to GOG :)
Nobody could answer better than HunchBluntley, thank you and +1 :)

No phone number. You have to use the support section on the site:

https://www.gog.com/support/contact/my_orders_and_payments

They are normally very helpful. But keep in mind that it's in the middle of the night in Poland, so it might take some hours before they even see your request.

No phone number, no (they're located in Poland, and don't have staff working 24/7, so I don't know how feasible telephone support would be anyway); if you need to get ahold of their Support department, you'll need to e-mail them explaining your problem. Go here, select the relevant problem you're having, and enter the info asked for. Just be aware that only a few of their Support staff work outside of normal Monday-through-Friday business hours, and it's several hours later where they are (Warsaw) than where you are, so be patient when waiting for a response.

Did you try to download your games the way I showed? EDIT: Or are you still trying to use Galaxy?

Not sure what you mean by "all tags show up immediately" -- I've never experienced any lag between assigning a tag to a game in my library, and it being displayed on that game's "box".
And I can't think of any reason I, personally, would need to tag games that I don't own, but I suppose that's just me. :P

Anyway, I have used MaGog to keep track of how much I paid for games, what discount I bought them at, whose gift code/promo code I redeemed (or who redeemed mine), etc., but I guess I just prefer the look and interface of the library to that of MaGog when it comes to viewing my owned games. It's still a great search engine, though. : )

Quick question....what Browser are you using to connect to GOG?
Microsoft Edge, Mozilla, IE, Chrome, Qupzilla, etc?
I wish more companies use telephone support, It would make this %100 more faster and easier to deal with when it comes to refunds, hacked accounts, broken games stuff like that,

That's why I love Amazon and long ago Apple for this.

It's not very feasible for small companies that operate internationally, though -- you have to either be a smaller regional company which only serves that region, or a giant corporation with a presence in several parts of the world and the resources to hire and train lots of phone support personnel to cover all those places. I don't think GOG's quite there yet. ;)

I think gog is at that point, They make multi millions and do have a lot they extra they make so at least 5 dudes on phones and call them the GOG MONKEY PHONE SUPPORT CREW! Bad ass all the way! :D

but yeah I just hate waiting 2 to 3 days to get something changed or fixed that a 10 to 20 minute call can do :/ just a pet peev
The reason why I asked what browser dreanason was using is because I want to rule out browser issues as one of the causes of his GOG downloading problems.

Since dreanason said he recently got a new dell computer, I am guessing he is running Windows 10.
Microsoft Edge is the default browser choice in Windows 10, and Edge doesn't work well with non Microsoft applications/has a lot of issues.

So my line of thought is finding out whether your Web Browser is causing the issue for you, dreanason.
Installing a new browser, making it the system default in Windows 10, and retrying the GOG download process might fix your problem.

WIndows 10: Settings\System\Default Apps\Web Browser is where you force Windows 10 to accept changes to its default applications list.

Sure, that would be great but unrealistic, especially for software.

Can you imagine the phone calls and how many staff they'd need?

Yeah, well, they can afford to as they're scummy tax-dodgers.

No matter what the question is, the answer is no. Just no. N.O. as in NOpe.

Not lag, you simply said:
the first tag [..] is shown on the bottom, and when you expand that game's "box", it'll list all the tags
Magog doesn't need a click on each game.

Maybe you own all the games, but for me it's annoying when you must skip tagging because you miss some titles (e.g: in a series).

Oh well, ok.

True enough. It's just never really bothered me that I have to click on a game to see all the tags assigned to it. :)
