I'm in for Back to the Future: The Game
+1

About time traveling. I do it all the time. I don't know how to do it backwards, but I know how to travel to future. Unfortunetly it works only when you're really tired :P
My fav movie about time travelling is Back to the Future and Idiocracy (well, it's not really about time travelling, but main character wants to go back from the future).

Nice! I'm in for A NEW BEGINNING!

BTW, I remember reading this sci-fi comic called STAR REACH. In one story, a professor had invented a time travel device. The story went something like this:

SCEPTIC: "I'm warning you - you're playing with forces beyound human understanding. Don't do this!"

PROFESSOR: "Relax - I'm just taking a trip back ten seconds in time. What can go wrong?"
[he steps inside the time travel box]

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."
[the preofessor presses the button to travel back in time]
*KA-ZLANG!!*

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."
[the professor presses the button to travel back in time]
*KA-ZLANG!!*

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."
[the professor presses the button to travel back in time]
*KA-ZLANG!!*

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."

*KA-ZLANG!!*

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."

*KA-ZLANG!!*

SCEPTIC: "I hope you reconsider."
[the profoessor presses the button to travel back in time]

[the prerofessor presses the button to travel back in time]

... the comic continued like that for about five pages
Nice giveaway, Roger--err I mean DedIago! ;-)

I'm in for Back to the Future: The Game.

What comes to mind is an episode of Red Dwarf: "Backwards" where the crew travel to a planet that is completely identical to Earth, but time is running backwards while the crew is still running "forwards". A wickedly funny series and a brilliant episode. Here's a clip of the barroom brawl at the end, or rather the "barroom tidy". :-D
Nice giveaway, DedIago!

I'm in for Back to the Future: The Game!

I would say Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is one of my favorite games about time travel! In the game, people are turned into sand-zombies by an evil Vizier. The protagonist is the Prince who wields a Dagger of Time. He must return it back to the Sands of Time to undo the Vizier's damage. The fact that the player can correct almost any mistake by slowing down or rewinding time is a really cool mechanic in the game! Who wouldn't want to have the ability to rewind any event in their life? :P

Thank you for the giveaway, and good luck, everyone!
Bump.

Забыл добавить. Любимый фильм про путешествие во времени, невероятно угарный и тонкий "Пришельцы" С Жаном Рено. Великолепная комедия! Одна из любимых!

I forget to add some details for my post. One of the love film about time traveler is incredible and fun "Les Visiteurs" with actor Juan Moreno. Great comedy!

You should put this requirement as part of the rules, by the way. I just noticed that requirement, I'm sure others didn't notice it either. I'll edit my initial post to put something time travel related.
It's crazy what people thought 20XX would be like, back then in the 80's! As though we'd have flying cars and hoverboards and lasers and artificial intelligence! They really overestimated our ability to innovate!

Anyway, thanks for the generous giveaways! :)
What a hoot, :) In for Back to the Future please,

Well, I am not proud of my one and only time travel experience. When I was 10 in the year of our Lord 1841, I was out in the woods by myself and in not the best of moods, kicking sticks, frowning at the world. Suddenly, I saw a massive hullaballo happening in a copse up ahead. Trees were thrashing, lights were flashing, and grit was mashing. I pushed thru all that nonsense only to witness a rather elegant rocketship land and extend out a gangplank. As I stood there, covered in grit, leaves and sticky bits a willowy spaceman er spaceperson um spacethingy ambled out, spied me and approached. Using a tentacle it pressed a bit of technology to its thorax and haltingly spoke.

"Greetings Earthling. I am Ambassador Xyziquptcl and I am here to grant the Human species the power of time travel for one event and one event only. What is it you wish?"

Without hesitation I stammered " I want to go back 1hr."

A look of concern crossed the spacethingies orbs. "Are you quite sure?"

"Why yes!" I retorted and stamped my foot stubbornly, always hating when elders, even elder space thingies spoke down to me.

"Very well." It then pressed a red button on the technology thing and with a swoosh and a poosh I was back exactly one hour.

In front of me was a tray of sticky buns me mam had baked. Only one was left. I could her my incredibly annoying older brother hammering down the stairs towards the kitchen and the delectable goodie on the tray. With triumph I nabbed that sticky bit of heaven and shoved it in my mouth just as my brother burst in.

Eyes a goggle he hollered, how did you get there before me you brat?!"

With sublime satisfaction I just winked and pushed past him out the door, happily munching away.

So I could have saved the world, saved any number of important assassinated pillars of the community, changed history to the betterment of all............. well, it WAS an incredibly good sticky bun after all.

cheers mate

As a child, I figured out how to get myself a time machine: Once I had it, I just had to travel back in time and give it to myself. Yeah, this could work! But the time machine never arrived, and so I couldn't give it to myself. :-(

Yeah, it's a good idea to actually READ the posts of giveaways you enter for rather than just seeing games, checking reqs, and entering. It's rather rude, IMO, to not read the posts+entire threads of GAs entered.

Yeah, I'm sorry for that. A lesson learned for me.
