kaletan: Why would nudity occur in movies and not in regular shows?
Because of children. If they see nudity on TV, soon they'll be all walking around nekkid with their small dingelidongs hanging around.

Or something like that. Anyway, at least to me it always seemed TV series used to be "more innocent" than movies, but nowadays it seems different with all kinds of Game of Thrones and Walking Deads.
Maybe it is in one of the movies listed below?

kaletan: @BreOl72 I've had trouble with other movies where I knew enough details but Google couldn't do anything. [...] Original idea. Guess what, Google couldn't find it either.
Well, I sure had my own hard times, when it came to finding old movies, songs, etc.,...but even with less details, than you offer, I found my stuff in the end - and on Google, nonetheless.

If it is on Google (as your examples are), you can find it there - with the right search parameters.

Using your example, I searched for "movie boy meets old self time travel time machine", which lead to 2.280.000 results...
On side number six (6) of the search results, I found this site:

http://krabat.menneske.dk/kkblog/all-time-travel-movies/

"All time travel movies" sure does sound good.

All Over Again (aka. Against Time) is the first entry under the year 2001 (with a link to imdb).

Now, of course, I don't know what exactly you remembered of that movie, and what your search parameters were...but let's pretend, you were sure about the time travel thing and maybe also had a limited time-frame regarding the release-date - the site above would have shown you your movie (of course, you'd had to invest some time, if reading the name itself didn't ring a bell in your memory).

I'm not saying, your movie doesn't exist, or that it should be easy to find, like I said, I'm really anticipating the resolve to your search.

I'm also curious to see (if the movie/TV-series is found), which of your details will match the result in the end.
Found this while searching on the internet .

You have some professional assassins on there. Exactly when did that equate to law enforcement? :P

Sad thing: I'm a fan of pretty much EVERY show on there, including TJ Hooker.
@BreOl72 I know what you're saying, but I simply had a lot of stuff to search for and this one keeps eluding me even though I know its plot. Since 2013 I've invested time in taking several actors' imdb movie list & watching their trailers, that led to many good findings. I am pretty sure I remember it correctly because other movies I watched around that time I could find based on actors or character names and turned out I had the right details. I have a pretty good memory.

For the future self one, I had googled something like "movie time travel boy future self", then added "time machine" & stuff but no luck. I'll use your list to find another one though, thanks. I remembered the plot with shaky details, like I forgot about the father, thought the boy already is reearching time travel before his future self arrives. But the guys over at movies.stackexchange.com found it in 10 minutes or so. I have only started regularly asking on forums since last September anyway.

And speaking of right search parameters, there was a movie called "The High Crusade", where some medieval knights are kidnapped by a UFO. Googling something like "movie knights kidnapped by ufo" yielded nothing tangible. But after changing "knights" to "crusaders", boom, I found it instantly. Still applies, I just checked again, if you type "movie crusaders kidnapped by ufo", it's the 3rd result. Also, I found you need a fresh mind to redo searches with various terms.

EDIT: I had seen only the second half of All Over Again, which led to different memories. Also, I see you googled "old self", not "future self". Same like my example with "knights" vs "crusaders".

Woooow....

I did a quick Google search like site:http://evilbabes.wikia.com stalker but found mostly modern movies. I'll get back to it after I view the 2 imdb lists above. I've looked at the movies list for Traci Lords and Brian Bloom in the meantime thinking one of theirs might be it. That evil babes list is quite comprehensive though.
I've seen movies just like that. Reminds me of a cable-TV movie which might excuse the nudity. The type of thing that would show up on TNT or TBS. The problem is that these shows are chock full of cops and stalkers and the like.
Is it Fatal Attraction?

He wasn't a detective, but a good guess.

Yeah, some details are surely more irritating than anything.
If I enter "Diana" to search for your movie, the first results always link to Princess Diana. ;)

Btw: if I had entered "movie boy meets future self time travel time machine", I would've gotten 3.060.000 results (instead of 2.280.000), and the site http://krabat.menneske.dk/kkblog/all-time-travel-movies/ would've come up on side nine (9) of the search results (instead of side six).

So, not that much of a difference, really.
The most important part definitely was to know, that the movie had something to do with time travel.
(like I said: "all time travel movies" in the link sounded promising, regarding that particular search parameter)

And the second most important thing is, to not give up searching, just because the first few sides of the results don't lead to the goal.

Wether "old self" or "future self" - you don't get your movie served on a silver platter. That much is clear.
You still have to invest (a lot of) time, to finally dig it up.

However, I wish you luck with your search! I hope, you find your movie.

EDIT: do you know this site?:

Maybe he can help you?

LiquidOxygen80: Is it Fatal Attraction?
Nope, I saw all the more famous ones. Also my question says the movie is basically like Fatal Attraction but the guy is a detective and the blonde is better looking than Glenn Close.
@BreOl72, @i_hope_you_rot Thanks for the suggestions. A recent example of hard to find tv series this time for me was Relativity, a 96 show with only 17 episodes. I found it through brute force, just browsing 3 years of TV schedule magazines. And a few others I forgot about, but that one was on the tip of my tongue just like this one, had plenty of details from it, but couldn't find it I'll just browse all the Evil Babes list unitl I come up with something, that site has TV movies & series too.
