While most games from the list do have leftist agenda, none of these went broke. But the Vampire Masquerade The Bloodlines 2 did during the development. And next on the schedule will be The Saints Row, which is doomed to fail financially even before its release. Remember the Battlefield and the all female squad? That the gamers should get educated about the female heroes landing on the Omaha Beach? That one failed. Ion Fury has suffered a backlash after bowing down to the leftist mob. Do you remember that leftist drama about the "ogay" thing? This is on top of my head. Others might write down more examples of the actual financial failures, because of the leftist virtue signaling.

This article leaves the impression as if a leftist did a parody of the centrists or the right wingers, and was bullshiting for the sake of it.

A game ip many has started to write off on Buying lately is Shadow Warriors 3 as its become known they donated a large sum to a agenda driven with a axe to grinda Anita Sarkeseen(sp?) who is a misandrist AKA a iman-hater or in otherwords sexist towards men rather then what she claims to be .. Aswell as for far-lest American extremist mindset on racial matters the devs bought into or atleast claimed to (unsure which) as they clearly had in 15 minutate gameplay reveal shown they had Shadoows 2013 and Shadow Warriors 2 VA doing the voice work and even the EA teaser trailer.. yet after they caved the replaced that va with a VA that was purely cast for his race rather then his skill they even admitted it in fact by saying it was a mistake they was correcting in the third game.. Despite the irony here is they didn't even get the right race/ethnical background despite the fact not being sure of that makes the matter they claimed to care about makes em look worse

There's a bigger discussion to be had about how they are funded in general but with this topic I think it's the other way around.
Studios struggling for funds are given a Faustian bargain or the institutions training the next wave of developers,often with taxpayers money, are screening in these type of people.

Sometimes the softening / wrinkles_ironing works fine and helps to reach wider audiences.
But other times, is just a clear flagrant inept attempt to push agendas. In such case, people notice that immediately and a significant number do not engage to the play.

Worries me more the ,,trendy,, act to easily tag & get radically polarized at the slightest signal just for the sake of who-knows-the-f*ck...
Not enough, then, the total morons above, come up with their stupidest rules to ,,solve the issues,,

The thing about sales is mostly come from the success of the last game the studio/publisher released and not from the current product.
Just look at how lulus preorder games without knowing anything about it, other than it is the next game from the company, whose last game they liked.



So in the end, wokeness will make your company broke.

A perfect example is the Battlefield series
Bf1 game with good visuals, Bf5 woke stuff pushed in result sales started to drop, Bf2042 even more woke and became a total disaster nobody plays it anymore.

Don't forget TLOU2 which was absolutely reviled by fans of the first game only to be praised by the shill media and journalists who gave it perfect scores and attacked the fans for criticizing the game and its direction. I loved how Angry Joe tore the game apart on his Top 10 Worst Games of 2020 list and for very good reason.

Do you think they were coerced into giving her money out of fear like some companies sadly do, or do you believe they did so because they support her ideology?
