RWarehall: Quite frankly, I joined the discussion because I didn't like the way HypersomniacLive had his concerns about privacy being dismissed. I think he has a valid concern. If you don't have a problem with GoG sharing the content of your correspondence with other users without your permission, that's fine for you, but that doesn't make it fine for everyone else.
They didn't share it with just "other users" but with people who signed the partner agreement and an NDA. That does make a difference.
RWarehall: I see no valid reason why GoG should be sharing information like that about other users without those users expressly giving their permission beforehand. What other information are they cavalierly sharing with other users?
Again, "partners", not just other users.
RWarehall: They aren't partners! GoG is using that as a legalistic catchall in their NDA to cover them in the event the visitors saw something they shouldn't have while they were there.
They signed the partner agreement, they are partners. It changes their legal status. You might not respect that, but it is a fact.
RWarehall: But thank you so much for piling on and questioning my motives. Why don't you go and downrep every one of my posts like so many others have too. Because it makes all of you so manly by pressing the downrep button when someone has an opinion that is other than your own. They just go and show what a shithole the GoG forums are...
Do you feel attacked because I said that I got the impression that you weren't satisfied with who went to GOG?
Or because I asked for quotes of where people's identity (those who were invited but didn't come) were revealed, as you claimed.
You haven't been forthcoming with those.
My manliness is totally fine, no worries, I don't downrep stuff like this. :D
And in case it isn't known here: I also have an NDA and a partner agreement with GOG.
Because of the Twitch channel and affiliate program.
