neumi5694: Publishing Amiga games in a emulator is not that easy.
darktjm: Actually, it's trivial: publish with scummvm (but don't delete the executable). That way, it's up to the end user to provide the full emulated experience, if desired.
GOG is pretty conservative with ScummVM. It use to be bundled when the game's been tested for years as a perfectly stable alternative to DOSBOX. EDIT: or if the use of ScummVM solves well known issues.
ScummVM use to be much more convenient and the game use to run smoother than DOSBOX in some cases, but they do not do it as a rule in every case. Also the developers or publishers have something to do in that regard.
If GOG does offer the DOSBOX version, the use of ScummVM externsally is more straightforward than the contrary for the standard user, specially if they choose the route of a ScummVM game version without the original exes. Games involving isos etc...
I use to agree with the use of ScummVM versions when the original DOS is well known to have glitches, defective performance, or cpu speed related issues.
All of this is not carved in stone, though.
