For all previous Bethesda games on GOG (like Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas), the Creation Kit (which allows you to create mods) was already included as part of the main game installation, and I assumed it would be with Skyrim as well... However, with Skyrim, the Creation Kit is NOT included, nor is it available as separate DLC at the moment.
This is such a terrible omission. Creation Kit for Bethesda games is ESSENTIAL... even if we had to pay for it as separate DLC, I wouldn't hesitate, as the CK for previous games has provided endless hours of enjoyment. If the CK wasn't ready in time for GOG's anniversary event and is coming later that's fine, we can wait... but please don't omit the Creation Kit forever! That would be such a horrible oversight, and would make the GOG version THE worst version of Skyrim you could possibly own. :( Preserving the ability to create mods is just as important as preserving the game itself.
