Let me just say, Eador: Genesis is awesome. There's no better word to describe it. I thought that AoW:SM is the best game of this genre then Eador: Genesis came out of nowhere and... just wow. Even more amazing is the number of people develop Eador: Genesis, i.e. not many.
Then come MotBW. My first thoughts were, "Well, it's still new and there will be bugs everywhere. I think I should wait for another 6 - 12 months." I don't know about you, I think that's a reasonable choice and I genuinely thought that many people would make the same choice.
But a quick read of this forum and Google shows that people actually bought the unfinished version of MotBW. Which brings me to my question, "Why do people bought the unfinished version of the game?"
Seriously, why do people bought it? Is this some sort of consumer culture I haven't been exposed to? Also, why do people care about multiplayer? Personally, I will not play multiplayer unless I can slap the other player physically.
