Crosmando: So I uninstalled my older GOG version of Eador, downloaded the new installer and installed it, then installed the new DLC, but whenever I try to launch the game it says the game is out of date and needs to update, it downloads 1.4.3 patch, but when it's done and I click "Launch" it just says it's outdated version AGAIN and downloads the same 1.4.3 patch again. Meaning it's impossible for me to update the game.
This is why autopatchers are so damn evil.
That just plain sucks. It would be really nice if GOG made their current installer the most up-to-date version Snowbird has available, but it's still the 1.1.3 version (which btw, I have been playing for the most part, trouble free, because it's pretty damn stable overall). As my gaming computer has no internet connection, I would be unable to use this DLC even if I wanted to, until GOG doers makes a current installer available. But TBH, after following the Snowbird forums over the previous weeks, and all the folks still complaining about bugs and problems, I'll be sticking with 1.1.3 for a while yet regardless. Hopefully, at some point, Snowbird and GOG can get together, and put out a "Stable* updated game installer, and then I'll happily purchase the DLC. I love this game, but won't be screwing with my older version till I *know* they finally have things all worked out....
