Klumpen0815: I paid for it and the team always states, how great and important their technical support is and that the don't upload the linux versions, because they don't know jack about it and only make stuff available that is properly supported by them, this does not include Windows either, as it seems.
Are you from the team trying to make me silent in a disguised social way?
Negative critics are constructive too, they show what could be improved while others just leave and spend their money elsewhere, but the approach to critics from the team is so awkward, that people either get into ranting or just do not spend money here anymore, I know lots of former customers here.
It wouldn't hurt to release the Windows versions for stuff that is only available for Dos here and it's exactly the same with the Linux versions.
It's just not there and you have to get these data somewhere else, but only see if it's the Dos or the Windows Version if you read carefully through the ratings before buying.
Sim City 2000 is another example where you get the dos version while there is a Windows version.
Having to ask customers to know what you get after paying is so wrong.
GOG were right to go with the DOS version, because it is the most stable and compatible version. DOSBox is also multi-platform supported.
I'll say it again, download the newest KeeperFX. It has widescreen resolution support and contains a completely rewritten game engine. The developers update it every few days, so depending on when you last tried it, any problems you previously experienced have probably been fixed, or they have been discussed in
my thread.
They also have a support forum
http://keeperklan.com/forums/52-KeeperFX You already have your old DK-Gold CD, and if that works well enough for you, there really isn't anything to complain about.
