It's great news to see Drakensang here on GOG, at long last! :D

Would be great if you could bring the spanish localization made by FX Interactive for the retail version. It's a very dear work for the people that could play this game back in the day.

If you own the FX interactive version you can make a fully translated version:

-From the main game folder copy "locale.npk"
-From the export/db folder pick "locale.db4"
-From the export/data folder copy the folders "movies" and "fonts". but you'd only really need two of the movies into the movies folder "credits.mpg" and "intro16_9.mpg"
-And finally from the export/audio folder copy all the files wih "speech" in its name.

Paste all of this into the GOG version correctly and the game will work with fully translated voice, movies and text.

All the files will be around 450MB in size.

Greetings

Oh, nice. Thank you (again) for your help :D
Yeah, of course i have FX release. I must say that i wasn't so tempted by this game back in the day. It came as an extra on my Disciples Collector's box. But in the end, i played much more Drakensang than Disciples :P (and i love Disciples XD)

Gracias de nuevo :D

EDIT: Oh, btw! do you know if this will work with Ergo's Fixpack?

Not tried the fix pack but It seems to be for the English version, so, if you run the GOG version untouched it problably will. But probably it will have glitches with the spanish version. The fix adds things and some of them will be new chains of text probably. Apart from this, who knows.

Hey, if you own a original retail copy of the game in spanish you can try to contact GOG and send them the files, probably they will be able to add it to the game release and could be a great addition for the game!!!

Oh, sorry for the delay, I wasn't aware of the answer.

Well, The version I own is one from the FX Inteactive Store, the owners of the translation rights for the game in Spain and probably Italy etc... If I am not mistaken, So, I would not be very comfortable with the idea of giving some files I have no idea about the legal issues. Other tiles here are available in spanish as well but not the GOG version. Titles like Sacred, or Submarine titans, Enemy engaged in the Dynamic version, Death to Spies, King's Bounty etc... and a lot more
Considering that any of them have the dubbing in spanish available in GOG I must understand that there are legal details I should not be involved in.

Hi, in this site:

http://traducciones.clandlan.net/index.php?page=academia%2Fsearch&search=Drakensang

You have available the text only translation. Not a perfect solution but you can use it to make things simpler. You olny should copy and paste your original sound files on your own from your FX copy.

Greetings.
