auroraparadox: I'm considering picking up the Source Hunter DLC. I'm mainly interested in the soundtrack. I do have questions regarding some of the other items that are included.

Do Zandalor's Trunks have any practical purpose?
No. They make inane comments when you perform certain tasks or deeds. They quickly become annoying.

How much on average does the Golden Grail increase the value of items?
None at all. The Grail does NOT change items into gold. They simply allow you to change the colour of armour/clothing (only armour/clothing) to yellow, NOT gold. It is a completely useless item.

Actually it increases the item value by 10%

It's more complicated than that, it seems. I just tested this on a pair of Snow Boots. Selling them to a miner in Silverglen (unaltered), I was offered a price of 49. After using the Grail, I was offered 159. That's more than triple the price. I fear I made some erroneous assumptions. My apologies.

Don't worry about it Hickory. Thank you both for your help.

I purchased the game and the DLC. I hope that when they implement achievements through GOG Galaxy they create a King Midas achievement.
Just something you guys might want to know.

If you buy Original Sin and receive your 9.99 fair price code, you can use that code to get Source Hunter DLC.
I was pretty happy about that.

In your collection there should be "+ 1 DLC" above the D:OS game tile, on the left (or after the name in list mode), with "DLC: Divinity: Original Sin - Source Hunter" listed below the game and patch downloads. The soundtrack should be listed with the bonus content.

Same with me. I had contacted support yesterday about not being able to figure out how to get the bonus content I put money on kickstarter for, and today I got an email saying there was a glitch and it should all be fixed and the extra content should be on my shelves. It's not. Emailed again and am awaiting further support.
i got it now. Greetings thx to GoG

If you still do not have it, try redeeming the code again.

Yep, thanks! Got an email saying the glitch was fixed and to do just that. Worked! Thanks!

I never play a new release (unless it's an MMO, which after Dominus was cancelled, I lost all passion for and can only hope Camelot Unchained has me empassioned again) until at least a month after it has released, so I wasn't in any rush other than to have a bit of peace of mind. Plus, I've never played DD or BD or D2, and I own both DD and D2, so I intend to play them first anyway. It will be some time until I get to D:OS.

How did you do it, if I may ask? I've been trying and failing. As a German, you as well should only be able to buy Original SIn & it's DLC in euros, but the fair price codes are in dollars. With $9.99 you couldn't possibly buy a DLC that costs 9.99 euros.

I dont know, how. I recieve the eMail with the "fair-Price...." and i open it and i had 2 Options. One Game for 5.99 and one for 9.99. I open the link and the DLC was in the list and i take it. Thats it.

The DLC costs 9.99$, and those affected negatively by regional price get a voucher as compensation. But at its core, the DLC is still 9.99$. So basically, you *can* buy the DLC with your 9.99$ voucher, you simply won't get the compensation ticket you would get if you bought the DLC in euros. It all balances out. :)

I'm in the Euro zone myself and have done this, and when you stop to think about it, it does make perfect sense that this works this way. I don't think it's a glitch, but a deliberate move on GOG's part. :)
