MrTrigun: Hear ye, hear ye! A guy from ModDB called arti9m posted something neat in DX Revision comments section..though it got buried quickly under all that hate/praise. And that neat thing is original Revision.exe completely stripped of all the annoying Steam DRM. I don't know who made it...heh, could be "leaked" by the devs themselves. :D But it's 100% legit and clean..tested it myself. And all the features we lost with the Kentie launcher workaround now work as they should so you can switch between original and new soundtrack, Shifter/BioMod/vanilla gameplay style, the new loading screens show and new HUD/menus color schemes are available.

Kimuji: Just tested, it works just fine. Their launcher and Kentie's seem to be stepping on each other's toes so you have to choose which one you want to use and saved games don't seem to be compatible. Thanks for the link! Original Revision exe pros:
- well that's the one suppposed to work better with the mod
- you can switch between soundtracks in the game's option menu
- a few additionnal color schemes for the UI
Original Revision exe cons:
- not as flexible as Kentie's launcher, less options
- HUD/UI management is not a good as Kentie's
If that's an "unofficial leak" coming from the devs, they're all forgiven as far as I'm concerned. It was probably the best they could do given the situation they were in thanks to Square Enix' Drek heads.
If you use "true" Revision to load a "kentie" Revision savegame... the game reverts to kentie Revision, menu lag and lack of options included. I'm trying to make it work - it SHOULD work.
