FTSO: After all the amazing numbers on Steam, things are slowing down pretty fast, they really don´t have 6 months, even if they still with a good user frequency.

That's pretty normal for a single player game, even without all the refund and drama this one has, as more peoples either finish the game or stop playing. Witcher 3 had between 5-15k most of the time (monthly players) with only peak when major patches or DLCs were released.

Their current daily player count is still bigger than the all time peak of Witcher 3 which happened with the Netflix series release.

FTSO: I like free stuff, but a rush of free DLCs is not going to help, i mean, not in the improvements side.
The thing is that free DLCs, if they are, as I expect them to be, cosmetic. They don't really cost anything from a purely "dev" point of view, it's mostly the "arts team" working on them. So you can have the devs working hard on fixing / improving the game and at the same time the arts team releasing free weapons / clothes.

79% loss in a fews days, I don't know, the current situation they are into is quite "extraordinaire" as far it goes the messy launch. But, the pandemic is causing a way more ferocious consume of digital enterteinament.

I hope the devs really bring together all the pieces, there is a ton of potential for this title.

Well, combine Christmas & New Year holidays with COVID restrictions and you end up like me - 200h playtime since launch.
I'm not the fastest player so I still have 3rd play-thru but I can imagine a lot have manage to complete the game already and are now back to normal work day schedule.
We don't have to give them anything. They've had what, seven years already -- they don't owe us anything and vice versa. Maybe they can salvage it and pull a No Man's Sky with CP2077 -- but that is entirely up to them.

In the meantime, I'd like my money refunded, thanks.

Yeah rightfully so, I'm hoping beyond the BS there's a semblance of control from those at CDPR who have done the right thing in the past to do so again.

be interesting to hear what is said from those that have left if any.

decourcy22: foop no, they had 8 years. This game is unfixable anyway, bugs can be fixed but the problems go far beyond bugs.
avatar
Tracido: This. I not only won't give them 6 months, I'll never give them another penny unless it's a huge deep discount or free. They permabanned people for speaking out, on the worst platform, console. That is 100% corrupt as a comany.
Christ, you guys are entitled beyond belief.
I hope the industry produces nothing but microinfested games. You deserve nothing but the worst shit and i hope it sticks.
Get fucked

It's people like you that got us where we are in the first place. The sycophantic, braindead individuals applauding all the spoon-fed nonsense coming from companies like CDPR. And we all got fucked. Because of you, and the likes of you. And even though you're getting fucked, you're still cheering and applauding. Only to get fucked, and get others fucked over and over again. Knock yourself out moron.
I only get fucked once.

Da faq, u guys compare dis to NMS? NMS was "fixable" cuz its free roam sandbox about exploration. They've basicly expanded the game. I know dis story well, since I was on dat hate train and now I think that NMS is decent.

Cyberpunk - is beyond salvation. To make smthg decent u need to make NEW game. If they even add all dis tings ppl whine about (2018 lies) - it wont fix the core problems, like dumb&dull gameplay and etc. Its just plain boring and not rewarding to play. Its just one-off game. Basically its Far Cry in another enivronent. Da faq u want from Cyberprunk? Skyrim? GTA? Not gonna happen.

#Facts.
Well it doesnt really matter what you give or dont, CDPR keeps making games nevertheless.

Glad to see this forum is turning more constructive, steam and official forum is still at drama-mode. Some journalism sites too.

They must have sold so many damn copies, Drama is so strong even after 1 month of release. Most devs get 1 week max.

Unless you praise whomever it may concern on those other forums criticism is met with flaming and purely insulting destructive types that blame the user / users, It's a pathetic state that continues on for profit the confused fanbois that advocate for these liars are the same as the cancel culture people they will follow you around steam and make a mockery of legitimate issues, with all of that then Valve call it a pattern and reasonable excuse to ban people that disagree.

The fact is that Cyberpunk had one of the best debuts in the history of game industry. Game series needs time to develop etc, thats how they become part of game industry.

Everyone is praising how awesome GTA5 is, guess what, they had 20+ year brand and fans behind them.
