Sorry, I'm speak english very bad.
XxTypo: Lol there's no way a 960 or R9 anything is gonna run this game while ALSO paired with only 8GB of RAM. I have an old PC with an R9 380 and 16GB of RAM, and it can barely run TW3 on the lowest settings, and can't really run much of anything besides really basic games. Minimum GPU will probably be 1050, and that's playing on low/medium settings, recommended will be a 1070. I actually might go as far to say 16GB of RAM will be recommended as minimum as well due to the size of the game.
Are you kidding? I played The Witcher on an ancient q6600 CPU, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and 660 graphics card and MEDIUM+ settings (no hair gimmicks and such) in Full HD at around 30fps.
That said, Cyberpunk 2077 graphics are nothing revolutionary, nothing that you can't find in current games. That is to be expected, given that it has to run on current consoles. Compared to The Witcher, they spent more effort on character models and animations and that is all. When The Witcher came out I wondered how they pulled out these vast open scenes with rich flora, curvy geometry and reflective water and what not. Well, there is nothing like that in Cyberpunk 2077. GPUs love to render flat city-scapes and closed spaces. They really have to go lazy on the engine to require more than 1060 to run it with decent frame rate in higher range of graphics settings.
There is some sys. requirements inflation. Seems that now they target 60fps Full HD as a minimum. Won't be surprised if in a couple of years they consider minimum system as one able to run 60fps in 4K. 30fps at 1080 is all I need.
