Hi everyone, i'm having a horrible performance since release date, and support is not able to help me further. My GPU is not running cyberpunk as it should. Usage is too low and it has several drops while playing. When i stay quiet i have 55 fps, once i start moving it goes to 30 :(. THIS HAPPEN WITH EVERY SETTINGS, for example 720p on low ...
My specs are: ryzen 7 1700, RTX 3070, 16 gb ddr4 2666 mhz, asus prime b450 plus, game on ssd. I have replaced almost my entire setup, power supply, motherboard, gpu and ssd, so i cannot understand what is happening.

EDIT1: I just can hit 100%GPU usage on 4k, any other resolution 65-30%. My CPU is always around 60%. Even with overclock. There is an image running 720p low settings. It has no sense for me. On 4k i can get a decent performance with some drops under 30 but more or less constant around 35 fps. Once i change resolution it comes the chaos.
Everything is up to date and the cpu seems to work fine, 3800 on Cinebench r20.
Is it normal that CP2077 just use 2.8 Gb of RAM?? Maybe there is something there increassing the frametime because cpu has to acces ROM, could be?

---> EDIT2: I have a new Ryzen 3700x a little bit overclocked. Here are the results in 2k preset ultra(newcpu.jpg)
Cpu use still around 60% ( stock mode has the same performance in the game as overclocked one). Are these results normal?
It reaches 34 fps min and 54 max.
I should be playing 4k ultra without problem with this setup right?
When i turn on rtx it comes the real hell, even on low and low resolutions the performance is horrible.
Ofc i had done a clean windows install.

Thanks for your help!!

There are multiple reports that ASUS software is a bottleneck culprit, especially AI Suite.
If it's the case, try these instructions.
I don't have any ASUS hardware or software and yet the game doesn't seem to be using my GPU to its full potential either. I think it may partly be something they'll fix eventually but in the meantime, you could try using a settings tweaking tool. Between the patches and my tweaks, the game still looks fantastic and it runs at a playable framerate (though just on the cusp of being unplayable).
I found not capping the fps, and turning off cascade shadows both helped a LOT. Good luck.

Try turning down FoV. It helped me a little.

Thanks for your reply. Gonna try this and post the results, hope i could finally play.

EDIT: Ai suite is no longer in my pc but same performance on cyberpunk :(

Thanks for your reply. No settings worked for me, all of them, even DLSS doesn't work, just decrease my gpu usage but same fps, drops and the game looks horrible :(

55 to 16 fps drops ... it is unplayable for me.

Thanks, but no settings combination worked for me, sadly including what you propose.

Oh, you've tried a player-made tweaking tool? There are a few settings that aren't available in the standard graphics menu, that's why I suggested one. Sorry I wasn't able to help, hopefully you'll be able to figure things out in the near future!

Sorry : /
I strongly believe that your issue is your CPU. Your GPU can't hit its potential because it's waiting for the CPU.

Yep, I supposed i had a little bottleneck, my cpu is a bit under what they recommend (ryzen 5 3600) but... why do they recommend i7 6700? My cpu seems to be working fine on stress test and different applications.

Sorry, I wish it would have worked though! :\
Yeah in hindsight looking at that Ryzen 1700, that's probably where your issue is. I agree with the other poster who mentioned it.

ambrojo: ...
I was playing the game on release date on Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070 Super. I had serious drops to 40 fps in more crowded areas. The game doesn't like AMD CPUs. It was optimized a little after a few patches, but it's still not great. So I suspect that the problem is your CPU, as some users above already mentioned.
