" But any more of backlashes will result in broken promises."

That makes zero sense, and yes I read your following story about that one game that you can't remember the name of. The only ones responsible for cdpr's broken promises will be cdpr. Don't pull a bunch of crap about how it will be the haters fault for calling out cdpr's dishonesty

also lol at the pity story about kicking a man when he's down. Gog founder is rich as hell, he's not down. Oh no he has to put up with unhappy customers. Guess what? thats part of his job where he earns that money.

So being belligerent and trashing a community (you are in) means CDPR will fix the game? Oh, I guess having this gruesome behavior is going to fix everything because CDPR is not as big as the rest of the triple A's: we have to tear it all down.

Man I really missed this feeling when someone wipes mud all over my carpet and when you call them out, they clean it up. Where's the courtesy in that? Where is the conscience in that? is there a reason why you did that just to spite me with your anger becasue i did something to piss you off because of one simple thing that I can fix it for free? That's one irrational way of thinking. Destroy someone's reputation without giving a chance for the first time to make it better for everyone else.

Yes, understand CDPR made a big mistake but they only made 5 games. Witcher 1, witcher 2, witcher 3, Gwent, then finally CP2077 and literally said "NO microtransactions". When I heard about TW3 being fixed, the game was well playable and people forgived them because they had done what fans wanted. They cared about their community but they don't want to be seen as a failure. But now you guys want to beat it down then burn it to the ground, i don't think they will look up to their fans anymore because:

1: You threatened to refund the game if they delayed it again.
2. You don't care about the game mechanics but only the graphics.
3. You took a dump on CDPR's platform and expect to get banned then tell everyone how bad and toxic they really are.
4. Calling Fanboys stupid for spending 80 dollars on this game.
5. When the apology is delivered, you don't accept it but laugh at them like it's for their own good.
6. Mic Dropping before or after evading bans (mostly on discord).

I've never seen such a man-child in my life getting angry over bugs and missing contents. CDPR is not like the rest of the AAA's that makes a lot of money. And when I see you guys bash AAA's, a lot of you crawled right back to them and still buy their games.

So please don't talk mouth full of crock drivel rot. If you don't like the game then move on. It's not like the whole world is going to owe you all-ears anyway then side with you.

I have been watching you guys whine constantly; over and over then when the game is out, the whine train began: chugga chugga choo choos. Learn to give it a rest and maybe you might get what you wanted.

Most of the users seem fine with each other here if you're talking of a community some don't comprehend colloquialisms so well and will deny the term and not even begin to understand it.

2007 The Witcher
2011 The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings released in 2012
2014 The Witcher Adventure Game Explode[72]
2015 The Witcher Battle Arena Android, iOS Co-developed with Fuero Games[73]
2015 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine
2018 Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
2018 Thronebreaker
2020 Cyberpunk 2077

Visual Black,

I think you need to accept the reality that CP2077 is a broken game, no if's or buts. CDPR rightfully deserved the harsh criticism and will continue to do so until they fix their game. The level of deciet they have shown to all of us, particularly to people who are playing on old gen consoles was frankly disgusting and I am not suprised they have a couple of lawsuits to deal with now.

On PC, I have an 8600k and a RTX 3080. The only way this game becomes remotely enjoyable in terms of performance is if I enable AI assisted graphics with DLSS. My system is no slouch and without DLSS the game runs really badly and thats before we even talk about bugs.

As much as the release was down to those at the top, the developers deserve criticism too. They have been working on this game for 8 years and for the game to be in this state is also a reflection of them. Yes, they may have argued against release but ultimately they also built what we are now playing. The game is not ready on any platform. For PC I thinik it needed at least another year. Consoles, god knows!

The "apology" that was released recently came weeks after release, and was also disingenuous. Even in that video Marcin stated that the bugs on console didn't show up on their play testing, I am sorry, but that is again an outright lie. Just boot the game up on PS4 and its downhill from there.

CDPR set the standard, mocked other companies by saying "we leave greed to others" and then ultimately did the same thing.

Without being overly mean, I think you need to look at this situation objectively, under no light does CDPR look good at this moment.

That sure was an incredibly long post to talk about something that didn't happen. People just basically said they lost trust and respect for cdpr
Ok maybe I oversimplified a little, but by not much. No offense, and this as meanst as well intenetioned advice, but if anybody needs to chill out, it's you. You're getting more worked up than anybody. Like I said, cdpr aren't your friends and you don't work for them(or do you?). Let gog worry about the backlash and how to stop people from customers getting pissed off. They brought it on themselves. Your method honestly hasn't done a single thing to change my mind about deserving the backlash they have receieved

mad_crease: I don't blame anyone.
People purchased with an expectation. We didn't get it.

I personally have over 200 hours in game. I have enjoyed it regardless of what my expectations were.
There's a lot of really good work done. I know they will fix the game or at least move it far from where it is now (in a good way). Many people forget the catastrophes that have been in the past that are wonderful games now.

People paid for a product that fell far short of the advertised and delivered goods. They have a right to complain. I just wish people who is/are enjoying the game were not buried in the sea of angry posts.
Your telling me. Look at No Man's Sky, which I gave a chance, it is awsome now. Look at Fallout 4, I Swear There is no difference to that game from the other one, where you can constantly click the button getting the game to yell SHAUN SHAUN SHAUN SHAUN SHAUN SHAUN SHAUN........ Mass Effect Andromeda. Diablo 4 which was going to have Single Player, pulled from game for DRM Online Only. I am going to go ahead and put the Mass Effect Trilogy Remasterd version here since it is going to have so much DRM itll be unplayable also. So many more games. Gog used to not have a Toxic Community but now we can proudly put this forum up there with Steam.

What I believe is that some of these people starting all this crap might be paid by Micro$osft or EPIC, to cause gog to go under, since they are the only game company without DENUVEO. Run gog into the ground and Buy them out.

Hell, It wouldn't surprise me if DENUVEO was getting all these idiots to run gog down, since they refuse to put DRM on their stuff.

I believe all this is true to some extent or another. Also, there's the few "cyber bullies" that just have the drive and need to tell the world how hateful their lives are, starting with anything that someone else might find enjoyable. The same people who find it hurtful to say something nice to anyone. The same people who live miserable existences and only find joy when they can berate or tear something down. It's always the same angry miserable type of person.

Sure, we all know games like this aren't what we were promised. But, they continue to beat the dead horse like 50 times, then kick it, then drag it around, then, finally tie it to a stake and stab it a few times for twisted amusement. They just have no life outside of being critical to everything someone else enjoys.

Why are you talking about DRM it may prevent certain people using it but objectively those games Have the Advertised content gameplay assets and quality assurance checks, Sure those publishers are ran by human filth however CP2076 is broken in so many ways contrary to advertised play with caveats from a voice over to avoid culpability.

Denuvo is a garbage idea though and proven to be detrimental to final performance which the shills for it on respective forums will hammer you with absurd stories, A modded exe that excludes Denuvo will always run smoother.

VisualBlack: Their rage is kind of funny. Mocking the fanbase (even though some of us who aren't fans already liking this game) is funny too. I really had a good laugh but they really want CDPR to go down like it's the last building they going to tear down because they felt like their lives are being ruined over those bugs.

I'm glad I'm not like those thrashers with contumacy behavior who constanly discredit this game when it's about to be fixed. I'm very patient on what CDPR is going to do to regain their reputation and their trust back for the community who has problems with their game and I really do believe them that they will do...
it's very easy to see by the majority of the comments that most of those raging about the game are just idiots that expected everything we knew about gaming and game engines to just magically evolve to some totally new state with Cyberpunk 2077.

almost every complaint i see is the exact same issues large open world games have always had, especially this near to release.
plus all of those that watched certain edited videos and once again thought that this game was going to be some super-immersive realistic CGI movie that you could play like an RPG game. fooled the same way they always have been by studio produced trailers and "early release" video. now are complaining that even though it has some of the best graphics and detail a game has ever used, that "all of those years of videos were just lying to us this time". even though this happens with every highly promoted\anticipated game.
of course then those are also crying that their mediocre system can't handle the game and they should get a refund since they can't play it on ultra.

just finished my first ~100hr playthrough finishing every gig and every visible map marker except rides for sale that was available.
having just finished Kingdom Come: Deliverance before starting this, i can honestly say that they are the only two large games out there yet with such amazing detail at such amazing draw distances also with such awesome detailed NPCs and other models.
and both this and Kingdom Come get near to the same FPS at the same level of detail settings so it's very clearly not any particular game engine or developer's "fault". it just takes more power than most gamers have at their disposal to run either of them at very good settings.

the few glitches and "bugs" i had were all easily solved by restarting the game or reloading a save. and i've had those same types of clipping and\or gameplay action issues with almost every single large open RPG game i've ever played on PC over the last 20+ years;
every Elder Scrolls game, every Dark Souls, every Divinity since the original, both of The Surge, every Shadowrun, every Diablo, every Fallout...
dealing with these minor issues has always been easy and always been outweighed by all of the other more positive aspects of PC gaming. mods fixing issues where developers do not, downloading edited config files, manually editing multiple files. that's just how the PC gaming community works.

i think way too many ignorant consolites came over to PC just to play this game and a large part of the negativity surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 stems from them having not been able to judge what type of power it was going to take to actually run the game decently and how to handle game issues themselves.

GTA 3 and Saints Row both have far superior AI and pathing those are hitting 20 year marks, so your attempt to deride legitimate complaints > Null!

Well, the actual problem is that CP2077's AI and pathing are so terrible that they could be considered nonexistant. And they are not bugged, they're "just" very poorly coded (because it was rushed, as I refuse to believe that they're so incompetent). I'm all for being positive, but his post made absolutely no sense. This game has more issues beyond bugs and broken promises; many of its core systems definitely need some decent work. But, apparently, some are gullible enough to believe the higher ups when they say that the only problems are some bugs and the console versions. No wonder that the whole industry is in the state it is.

Is there a list of bugs found by the Community with Images ???, Other than the absurdly hilarious montages on youtube.
avatar
Prefetian: I mean, this is going to take a lot of work and a lot of time if it's going to be anywhere near of what the trailers made it out to be.
Hopefully in two or three years, which will then be ace but until then it's still kinda broken in more ways than one.
It does seem that some people are so busy hitting on the game that they are not taking the time to see that the game is pretty good even with the bugs.
What's done is done, all the moaning in the world isn't going to change that.

Not that good, though. Nothing groundbreaking, just a few bits of decent entertainment and so much stuff that could have been.

Suppose you go the prettiest restaurant you've ever seen. And their interior design is amazing. Breathtaking, even. But their chairs are uncomfortable, their waiters are rude, and their kitchen is having trouble with anything beyond buttered toast. Is that really a spectacular restaurant that you can't wait to come back to?

Don't get me wrong, I like buttered toast as much as the next guy, but if I'm forced to eat half-raw potatoes, leathery steak, unintentionally sushied cod, crunchy pasta, and burned chicken breast to go along with that toast then my patience will eventually start to wear.

This game has good parts and it has badly undercooked parts. That's on top of the whole game being a buggy mess, which I suspect is a consequence of the executives having changed their minds on what kind of game they wanted to make and how quickly they wanted to do it.
