omgitsbees: The only news we ended up getting after the hack, was that CDPR decided to punish everyone else and delayed the 1.2 update. At this point they have most likely abandoned the game, using the hack as an excuse, even though nothing actually came of it.
Unfortunately that seems to be it. Figure they lied for 2 years, released a full-priced alpha, lied some more, claimed to be hacked (how coincidental is that?) in the middle of their nightmare, adopted the roadmap mentality (which is always bad post-launch) and still no word.
If all the pundits for CDPR had shut the hell up instead of trying to perpetuate the lies ("it's still the same game we promised", "it has all the functionality we promised", "it runs great", etc) it might have helped, albeit a small amount.
Best thing that can happen now is the Polish government takes back the people's money they gave CDPR for "next-gen development tech" and the class-actions wipe out the rest.
There's no hope of overcoming the lies at this point. No hope of getting the product that was promised and marketed so hard for so long. CDPR should just shut it's doors and go live in a dumpster. It'll have good company with it's game.
