Andre__Soares115: Yap, this solved my problem:

1) Once again use the combination of WIN key+R
2) Type: msconfig
3) Press the tab "Services"
4) Search for "Nahimic service"
5) Disable the check mark, to disable it

Thx shooms
You spelt "Chooms" wrong. lol. But switching off "Nahimic Service" works. Thanks
:)
nothing of the solutions are working for me after the patch 1.5
For anyone that has the 'Flatline crash' with the 'EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)' without having 'Nahimic services' and / or Mods installed.

What fixed it for me was uninstalling CP77 then Steam, scrubbing the disk for anything CP77, REDLauncher and steam related folders inside %userhome%\AppData, even %userhome%\Saved Games folder (Steam cloud saves will restore your saves if you have them backed up), then reinstalling Steam and CP77.

It's the only thing short of reinstalling Windows that got the game to launch.

EDIT: Came back here to update this post.
So, it light of a reddit post that detailed the debug of the crash, turns out that one of the key factors in getting the game to crash is having a dedicated audio interface.

I can confirm that with doing all of the above but installing the ASIO driver for my interface (Behringer UMC-404HD) causes the game to crash again.
As soon as I uninstall the driver and windows uses the generic audio driver for the device game fires right up.

I can't imagine the QA team didn't have at least one machine sporting a dedicated audio interface with discrete ASIO
drivers.
This is really poor QA work from CDPR... again!

Hope this info gets you playing again!

This is ridiculous. I have the same issue and I do not have Nahimic installed, I shouldn't have to go on a scavenger hunt to get the damn game to launch.

Not touching this until the issue is patched.

Falran: If you guys/gals are still experiencing any difficulties with launching after updating please be sure to give the suggestions from the following support article a try.

If the issue persists do get in touch with us directly and we will take a closer look
This worked for me after disabling mods, removing mods, deleting all files in Cyberpunk directory and verifying, and uninstalling/reinstalling all failed to fix the flatline launch.

As soon as I set Nahamic to not start, and stopped the process, the game launched immediately.
Awesome, so good to hear you can go back to enjoying your time in Night City.

Again, should any issues persist, we are happy to help here at Tech Support.

Thanks for the thumbs up for the article too. Gives us an idea about the scale and how helpful the tips were.

I had never hear of this "Nahimic" service before, but since it's audo related I'm guessing it's from Asus' "Sonic Studio" software... (I've upgraded my CPU/mobo since I last played CP 2077 pre 1.5). But this fixed my problem at least
same here the game does not launch anymore and "verify repair" option dont do anything
this game is really coded with the A*S

Thank you, this sorted it for me, Really grateful.
Having the same "Whoa, Cyberpunk flatlined" issue. The only thing I haven't tried that I can think of is swapping the videocard out with one that doesn't do RTX or possibly an AMD card. The error report says "Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
Message: The thread attempted to write to an inaccessible address at 0x48.
File: <Unknown>(0)
"

Things I've tried:
1. Disabled Nahamic via msconfig.
2. Verify install via galaxy.
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled.
4. Never used or installed mods.
5. Unplugged Xbox Series and Xbox Adaptive controllers (Its been an issue with another game)
6. Uninstalled and reinstalled Nvidia Game ready drivers.
7. Scan drive its installed on to make sure there were no errors (there is 287 gigs free on that SSD)
8. Made sure all software and drivers are uptodate.
9. Nothing in the system is overclocked/

If you've got a dedicated audio interface, try completely removing the driver and restarting. Might stop the crash.
I've got an external interface and uninstalling the ASIO driver got the game to load.
Hi,

I've got a strange issue.

If I try to start Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.5 from GOG Galaxy 2.0, then the game will crash and give the flatline notice if I want to submit a bug report.

However if I start the game by just clicking the executable from the directory I've installed the game, it starts up normally and I can play as usual.

Additionally I can launch the game for example from AMD Radeon Software and it will work as intended.

Has anyone met this issue before?
