operation: Thanks arlandi, your settings completely solved my problems, although there is some strange shadow flickering in the opening cutscene.
Graphical problems are now away. Thanks to you arlandi. I have some problems as operation with shadows in the opening cutscene. This game is also little bit slow if I modify the settings like in the Arlandi's picture. Although my system is not quite great (Win 7 64-bit, Athlon X2 64 QL-60, Mobility Radeon HD 3450, 4 GB Ram).
Maybe I'll try this game later when I get my desktop computer running.
The solution described there:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9846953&postcount=7 is what gives me the highest framerate without glitches for my Vista laptop with ATI Radeon HD3200.
Alright, after some experimentation I've found the solution.
Make sure the following are disabled.
- HW Vertex Processing
- Multi vertex stream
- Autogen mipmap
Keep the following enabled.
- Triple-buffering
- SSE
- Mipmapping
- Fastflip
This solved the problem for me.
Also, for too fast cutscenes, don't forget to force your Vsync on in the ATI/Nvidia control panels.LINK:
Disabling only HW Vertex Processing hit much more the performance.
This solution fixed also the problem with shadow in the opening scene. Thanks Syniurge.
I attached the picture of the settings that worked pretty well with my setup.
If the AA is full, then my FPS is about 5-10, but when I lowered it by one, then my FPS is about 60.
If the Multi vertex stream is on, then all the shadows flicker.
I am using the gog shortcut.
