I have one of my characters running with two kits at the moment, but it's not really a mod. The character only officially has one kit, but I've added all of the other class's special abilities. (They're just spells, after all, and they're all listed in the 2DA files. Make an item that casts the appropriate spell on your character, and use the console to give yourself that item at the appropriate level, activate the item, and bam! Pseudo-kit. I use the Manual of Gainful Exercise as a base.) The only issue is that I have to make sure I don't use any of the forbidden gear for EITHER class, since the game won't do it for me, and I have to remember to check my journal to see if I'm due for any more abilities (I made a list).
The character is a multiclassed Wizard Slayer / Assassin, which seems to be working extremely well. I expect it'll work even better once I get Use Any Item. I'm not exactly sure how a mod would handle all of that automatically considering that the part of the file that defines which kit a character has is only a couple of bytes long.
