Undead, Day 22

The Dark Elves declare war, and then their boat runs home, presumably to gather reinforcements.

More words please. It's Friday afternoon and you're giving me very little to waste my time upon with your empty little "TS" updates. :)
Undead, Day 23

We see the Dark Elves have swapped out a ram and archers for a bunch of fire sprites and archers. Sure, whatever, we attack. Note to self: Fire Sprites are better than cavalry. So we attack again, and we manage to finish off the last fire sprite that only had 1 hp left.

I suppose we'll be seeing the archers and ram back shortly. -.-

Undead, Day 24

The Dark Elves launch their archer assault from an unexpected direction, but we put a stop to it anyway.

I wasn't the first leader to die this time... Bonus!

But it definitely doesn't look like I have a chance to mount any realistic defence on any of the fronts. Even if I build dragon boats every 4 turns from 2 docks, a mass of frog spam alone would be enough to overrun my starting location. Even if I had a upgrade 3 structure to spam the Highmen swimmer every 3 turns, it still wouldn't be enough to turn the tide. Even if I had a piece of the pie from some of the other dead players, it still wouldn't be enough. Getting centre dominance and surface dominance early sets the madness of the snowballing. Bookwyrm, I learn something new from your tactical genius every time we play this map, right down to the peace-time blocking / spying. It's not over for me yet, but man, the writing is on the wall for my team this round. I'm hoping you'll join the next rendition of Xelm too.

I keep hearing these rumblings about the legend of Mimo, do you think we could convince him to join a Xelm game?

Well, leaving my leader there was extremely dumb. And losing battles to indies in the early game was awful too.

You aren't even second to die! :)

You may have just seen another trick. >.>

I might play again if we do another round, though I'm going to want to play another new side.

Mimo much prefers Shadow Magic, so I'm not sure we'll be able to pull him into this.

I went scouting for your galleon and spotted your leader the previous turn, but I'd already used up all my guys in the area trying to take out your fire sprite stack before they could become a problem. I was happy to see your galleon pop up way out of range of your leader, since it meant you were almost certainly still there and nearly helpless. >:D

Undead, Day 25

We snipe a town before the High Men can claim it, and we wait to see if their new strategy of disbanding units will trigger attacks on our guys.

OOC: Is it permissible to cast Free Movement on war ships that I don't control?

Lol that's hilarious. I think answer ought to be no, here, but in future games I'll definitely make this a specifically allowed exception becuase it's funny.
Why would you do that?
... Unless it's on an ally?
