Have just installed and played with the above. It looks good, however it is bitch hard. If you like playing a game by going WTF, 2min reload, WTF, 2min reload then you will enjoy this (the 2min is because it takes a while to load).
2 minute reload? WTF? That is so unrealistic. A musket doesn't even take 2 minutes to load. :P

Navagon: Quite often they fall down when shot, then get up and limp away as fast as they can. They're quite realistic in how their AI isn't 100% focussed on attack, but they are still dangerous in a pack, as a pack mentality forms quite quickly if you don't keep fending them off (as it was in vanilla. With the weapons mod you can just outright kill them).
I find them almost as annoying as Cliff Racers in Morrowind, so it is nice to be able to kill them off quickly.

monkeydelarge: I wonder why, there are no non Ukrainians in the zone. Doesn't make sense. All the strange thngs in the zone would attract people from all over the world. I hope they fix this in the next Stalker game.

Sachys: Actually, the mercs are supposed to be a mixed bunch as are the scientists, but due to the rush job getting the game out (thanks THQ!) a lot of details like that were left more as an afterthought - though theres still a fair bit of unused stuff (thats only otherwise been seen in mods and LA) if you dig through the data packs.
Yeah THQ borked the timeframe for the devs. Modifying weapons was basically impossible without mods. And Dat AI!

Ah, sorry, wasn't clear. That WTF, arrgh I died, wait two minutes on the loading scene. I didn't meant the weapon takes two minutes to reload :o)
It looks good I must admit, its just the loading times which kill the mods for me at the moment. I believe the modder is looking at ways to compile things to load faster.

Next up on my list is Stalkersoup. Will post here my thoughts on it when I can.
