DEEP SPACE EXPLORATION
In SpaceBourne 2, players are offered tens of thousands of diverse solar systems to explore. Each system has a unique structure, featuring different planets with varied surfaces and areas to discover. The locations, from the solar systems to the planets, are procedurally generated, ensuring that each system and planet is unique and has numerous points to explore.
SpaceBourne 2 boasts massive planetary surfaces, each with its own structure, climate, and gravity, as well as cities, villages, caves, outposts, and secrets to interact with. With tens of thousands of different planets available, players are given an unparalleled amount of opportunities for exploration throughout the galaxy
SHIP AND PILOT
Every scenario needs a hero.
In SpaceBourne you have two of them; Your Pilot and your Ship
With the new character customization system and the realistic rendering feature of Unreal Engine, you will create lifelike characters and embark on an adventure with your ships that you have modified according to your own preferences.
CONQUER THE GALAXY
In SpaceBourne 2, you have the ability to establish your own faction and wield complete control over it. You get to decide on the faction's internal operations, policies, governing principles, and management structure. By expanding your faction's military, capturing other stations and solar systems, or constructing new stations, you can become the supreme ruler of the galaxy.
SpaceBourne 2 offers a rich diplomacy system, featuring Starlords loyal to each faction, as well as houses connected to Starlords. Each house has unique characteristics, stations, planets, cities, and fleets, allowing for diplomacy not only with factions but also with Starlords and Houses.
Diplomacy can now be done not only with factions but also with Starlords and Houses.
The relations of the Starlords in the galaxy can change all diplomatic dynamics in the game. This forces you to think hard before you act.
CREW

In SpaceBourne 2, you are not alone on your journey. You have companions who can assist you in combat and lead your team. Players can assign team members different roles on board based on their skills.
SIDE EVENTS
GUILDS
In the game, there are guilds available, a total of 7. The player can join the guilds they choose and progress within these guilds. Each guild can provide numerous side quests to the player within their respective areas of expertise. As the player completes these quests, they can rise in rank within the guild and gain access to unique benefits offered by the guild members.
SIDE MISSIONS
In SpaceBourne 2, players can expect to encounter side missions scattered throughout the galaxy. These missions not only offer a change of pace from the main storyline, but also provide an opportunity for players to earn extra rewards, learn new information about the game's world and characters, and immerse themselves even further in the game's rich and diverse universe.
LIVING GALAXY
In SpaceBourne 2, you will enter a living galaxy where opportunities for adventure and intrigue are waiting for you at every turn. With a vast array of spaceships at your fingertips, you can engage in communication with other ships, and experience random encounter events that will pull you into new stories and challenges.

I have about 200 hours of gameplay on Steam. game is good and I think it would in the top 5 of the best games ever made by a single developer. I bought the game here just to support the dev. Buy it too, you won't regret it.

it's playable
It is in development, at the time of review and you will notice. For apparently one guy who did this so far, it's rather interesting. The lighting and performance is in my opinion a weak spot and needs polishing. It gives the space combat explorer trader genre a new road ahead like Star Citizen or X-4. The game has a bit clunky interface (the galaxy or solar system maps definitly need improving). looking forward to the finished game

Well worth the price.
I have it on steam. It is so good I just may get it on GOG too. No DRM. Awesome!!! I gave it 4 stars as there are early access bumps. But it is still a 5 star game even with bumps. Spacebourne 1 is also very good. Maybe they will get that on GOG too? Spacebourne 1 & 2 are very fun. The space combat is as fun as Rebel Galaxy Outlaw IMO. Spacebourne 2 adds FPS to the mix! The missions seem relevant and engaging. The term janky is used by others. I disagree. They are issues/bugs but they are still very solid games. I recommend both games.

Astounding work by one developer
OK, so it's still in development, there are still a few rough patches like spelling errors here and there, but the space combat is pretty tight when you get used to it, i'm not as keen on the ground assaults, but they're still ok. I've got 385 hours in Steam, but to be fair, probably a good 150 hours of that were spent "AFK mining" using a mouse with a "double click" button. For that, use your misactor (a sort of remote control mining device) to help you locate something worth mining - always find an asteroid that says "Assorted", because it's worth the most, it's ore is called "Assortak". Once you've located the ore using worms and the tunnel, take the misactor back to the ship. Then spacewalk back to the ore location, and set the power level to minimum, so the efficiency goes to max. Aim at the ore, and find something to hold your double click button down, then go to school, take the dog for a walk, go to sleep etc. When you return you'll have a ship that's overloaded with ore, and access to some ready money at last, without risking life and limb, or your ship. Hint, you don't lose your ship, you just start from the last save again. This is still in very active development, and it's a bargain at £11 if you can cope with some clanky dialogue interactions as you progress through the story.

Smells like Freelancer
Who wants to play the unfinished competitor when SpaceBourne 2 is ready to play. It's early access but makes very much fun. I've got more than 1 00 hours on steam and theres still more to go. Keep in mind it's developed by one guy and it has more content that some competitors. I played also SpaceBourne 1 for around 100 hours and had much fun. Part 2 is even better. Full recommendation to buy, it's absolutely worth the price.
