As Expected
This DLC takes the main games content, and turns it into a rogue-like deck-builder. Your character must traverse three maps, each ending with a boss, and the final with the big-bad. The map has branching paths, leading to different markers specifying what's at each location. There's treasure, shops, light events, battles, and champion battles. The format is typical for the genre. Get through all three maps and you win! If you die, you go back to the beginning. Depending on how far you get, you gain experience which you can use to upgrade the deck and unlock the cards you find. You will also find relics you can "add to your collection", which you can choose from at the start of each run. I found it enjoyable, and well worth the asking price. It brought me back to a great game, I might not have revisited otherwise.
