Why isn't everyone here already blocking it locally? So many tools you can use to block this in your browser. You can also block it at your firewall.

It's better to add your own analytics services matomo (piwik) instead of Google

In galaxy client page is advertised that there is no spying or data sharing. If that is tru why should the webpage be any different?
