Let us play older versions of the games we buy.
I also ask for this feature due to the increasing times when a game is either broken by new "patches" such as the most recent Fallout 4 "update" that breaks most mods that are installed or completely new mechanics are added which cannot be turned off and detracts from enjoyment of the original game such as hunger in Minecraft, or new restrictions on ship parts in No Man's Sky.
Hell yeah, if possible, with a changelog.
Like, I like cyberpunk 2077 BECAUSE of some glitches, the new and updated version simply is not updated enough to be more fun than those glitches, so I would like to not get jumpscared by it trying to update every now and then DESPITE my settings.
Please add this also for Linux Games
This feature now exists in GOG Galaxy 2.0, but is limited to ~5 past versions for many games.
CAVES OF QUD SAVE BROKEN
I WAS DOING WELL
HELP
Please add this.
Maybe not each and every version of every game. But atleast the first unpatched version would be nice. Then you could choose to download what ever patch you wish and patch it to that version.
That would also solve issues with games like No Man's Sky where each release massively changes the gameplay and introduce another set of bugs. Link to forum discussion: www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/with_gog_version_can_i_revert
BG2EE brought me here. Please give download access to v1.3 (the last v1.x before shifting to the awful 2.x engine). Not only because the game and engine were far superior, but also for compatibility with previously supported OS's (like OS X 10.6.x), *according to the listed supported systems when we purchased the game*.
@puresolarflame: Take this with a grain of salt, because it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to just disable Tshock. As long as you're playing with friends, you shouldn't have to worry about cheat protection - unless you have rubbish friends. ;)
And another reference to previous versions for Terraria on GOG: forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/does-the-terraria-update-if-i-bought-it-on-gog-com.4056/
In my case, my friends and I run Tshock (Terraria) servers, but Tshock has a hard time keeping up with Terraria releases, and consequently we have a hard time keeping client versions in sync with the latest versions of the servers. It would be nice to get access to previous versions of the client through GOG so we can always match the latest Tshock server versions.

I think this might be achievable with offering the release version and all the standalone patches as an alternate download.
Another example is the complaints with BG2EE UI updates with 2.0. Yuck.
today i got shadowrun: hk extended edition for free - that is great! but what if i prefer original hk? i can't download it anymore!!! please, in case of such drastic changes make another game slot, so i still can get old release. otherwise i'll have to backup _every_ gog update and i don't have such resources...
Terraria is another exaple of a game where this feature would be useful. I would greatly appreciate it.
YES!
especially if upgrade contain more than minor bugfixes.
example:
FTL was upgraded to FTL: Advanced Edition and it's _different_ game
with different balance, events, interface etc.
i don't like FTL:AE at all...
I see why this could be relevant, but probably it is not applicable to the majority of titles on GOG. I don't think GOG has any versions other than the latest available for games that have not been patched AFTER their GOG release.
