Unreal World
If this is not the prime example of a Good Old Game, nothing is.

Real legend of indie games. Please, add it.
Truly classic roguelike game, deserves its place on GOG! =b
Please get this game GOG. There is no better simulation game than this, and even though it can be gotten free from the website, it definitely needs more recognition. I am going to email the developers too.
The url to their website changed. Now it's www.unrealworld.fi/
Great survival game, would love to see it on GOG.
This is an amazing, realistic iron age survival simulator with unbelievable amounts of depth and detail. I have put hundreds of hours into this game, and with the constant updates and growing modding scene, I'll likely put in hundreds more. The game has been in development since 1992 and is still being updated frequently. It recently received a Steam release (and yet another update). Unlike a lot of the recent, trendy "survival" games, Unreal World is a hardcore simulation. Everything from weather, seasons, agriculture, illnesses, wounds, hunting, trapping etc, is simulated down to the last detail. As an example, when fishing: the time of year, time of day, water quality and rate of moving water are all taken into account. This makes the game incredibly addictive, engrossing and also... rewardingly difficult.
I heard that GOG rejected the game once when the founding developer, Sami Maaranen, tried to pitch the game to them due to believing it would only appeal to a "niche audience". I truly hope they will change their minds and release it here, as I would buy it yet again, just to support the amazing developers. This game needs a lot more publicity.
This game deserves to be spread around simply because it's effing awesome in its depth and possibilities to play it. Also, you prove to be a quite adult person if you manage to look behind the admittedly ugly 1992-UI ;) It's in my Top 5 games together with Kerbal Space Program, Civilization IV, Dungeon Keeper and Binding of Isaac.
This game is now live on Steam. I have spent hundreds of hours on this game through the years, it is brilliant, and would be great if it found a home here too! Sami, the maker is a great guy I'm sure he wouldn't mind it here! *Goes to break a hole in the ice with javelin* Slack my thirst GOG!
Great, deep and fascinating game with unique game-play. It would be near perfect with added storytelling stuff. Still the game world is very interesting, open-ended and filled with detail.
Love this game - waiting to buy the Steam version just to support them some more, and if it comes to GoG I'll buy it again! ;) It's a great, low-magic, low-tech survival game. One of my absolute favorite games.
As per most the comments, the address is: www.unrealworld.fi/ - Great game, has my vote.
I have been regularly playing URW for some years now, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys playing survival games of the highest caliber. Presently, game development is donation based and the current version is free to download on the developer's site: "www.unrealworld.fi"
Note: The website address above is old. UrW has been moved to www.unrealworld.fi/ a long time ago.
I play UrW for a few years now. It is a great game, basically a low-magic survival game, with some roguelike elements, emphasizing on realism. Features Day/night and season cycling, a randomly generated world with different civilizations and many more.
Some of the things you can do: build a temporary settlement or a house, hunt animals or set a variety of traps to catch big or small game, process the meat and conserve it to survive the winter, grow your own vegetables, craft your armor/weapons/tools or trade in villages, or barter with traveling merchants.
Want to be a bad ass? Go raid a village, perhaps in the night when people are sleeping - sneak into the village and steal, or use range weapons to kill some guards. But beware, people will spread the word and you won't be welcome in the region anymore.
The above list of features is not exhaustive. There are many things you can do in this game.
UrW is constantly developed, and over the years I saw many improvements in the game. Developers are very active in the forum and listen to player wishes. I can recall a few times I asked for some feature/improvement and saw it implemented quickly.
UrW is one of the best games I've ever played. Definitely must be in GoG.
It's a great game.
It's a very interesting game. I came across this game like ten years ago and was happy to come across it again. I want to see this in GOG or Steam!
Also at www.unrealworld.fi .. an interesting if graphically dated attempt at a semi-historical iron age survival roguelike. It's been in active development for over 20 years, and I think it would fit perfectly in GOG's catalogue by pretty much any measurement.
