tryssmagiscus Providing it's hi-resolution; 16:9 widescreen would be a dream come true, but if that's not possible as long as it's a reasonably up-to-date level of resolution I'd be very willing to pay for the original "non-OTTD" version called "Transport Tycoon Deluxe". Please, GOG wizards, do your best to summon this title from the grave for us all. Thanks a bunch!

kineticdeath I have Open TTD but it doesnt have the original games stuff, I even tried to play the original TTD recently on my win10 computer and it hated it. Even now, 20 years or whatever later i still remember the fun i had building epic rail networks running electric goods trains from corner to corner. Would buy if normal TTD was remade

ssokolow OpenTTD *has* come a long way, does fix a lot of UI/UX warts, and includes its own resources these days, but I'm still willing to pay to have a legal source of original TTD graphics, sound, and music files to drop into it.

Matruchus Yeah OpenTTD is quite good - at least it fixed all the traffic lights problem on the railways from the old TT games.
specialsymbol OTTD has gone a long way and it's absolutely gorgeous right now. Especially the better bridge options, building on slopes, the new airports and such are awesome.

lordfirefox OTTD is such a failure, I'd rather play the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe. I don't want a bunch of added-on community garbage AI's in my game that don't do anything but spam the map with useless vehicles and whatever. The Original TTD may have some broken things in it but overall it's 100% better than OpenTTD could ever hope to be.
flanner in OpenTTD, there are AI competitors even more silly than in the original, so i would prefer original..
but, maybe there is some development still possible
