The Thing is a 2002 third-person shooter survival horror game.

Set as a sequel to John Carpenter's 1982 film of the same name, the story focuses on Captain Blake, a member of a U.S. Special Forces team sent to the Antarctic outpost featured in the film to determine what has happened to the research team.

Yes please, this game did an excellent job of capturing the feeling of isolation and distrust between team members.

If The Thing was sold on GOG, I would love to buy it and play it :) Because I liked John Carpenter's 1982 movie it would be interesting to know if the game complements the events of the movie.
