The Thing takes place shortly after Carpenter's 1982 film and plays off of many of the same themes of mood, distrust, fear, and monstrous baddies. It plays out as FPS as you try to determine what has happened and who in your team has become infected.

Played this originally on Ps2, pretty fun and unique shooter. Would really like a digital copy for the PC version on GOG. Hope it'll happen one day.

I have a hard copy of it on PC and still install it from time to time. If it showed up on GOG I wouldn't hesitate to buy it ASAP.

I played it some years ago, and I thought it was very atmospheric and a ggod game to play. I had some nice time out of it, and its nostalgia value" is very high IMO.
Especially after a review of one of the two "The Thing" movies (the original or the more recent one).
